late nite tanning at this tanning salon 5/21/2007

tanning. it is great being able to tan late at this Beach Bum tanning. I get off work at 11:00 and I can still make it in for a tan. If I am running late I can go to the 86th street Beach Bum tanning because they are open 24 hours. It is very convenient to be able to yse my package at any Beach Bum tanning location to take advantage of all the options. Pros: late night tanning at this tanning is great more

Cleanest tanningsalon anywhere. Get undressed here. Sunless tanning as well 5/21/2007

This is one of the cleanest best run tanning salons we have ever been to. I saw the ad in Next Magazine and had to try it out. I had been tanning further uptown but I am glad I tried this tanning salon. It is close to my apartment and my favorite bars. Staff was super helpful too! Pros: Cleanest tanning salon ever more

I have been going to this salon for 3 months and feel that it is the best I have ever seen. The tanning beds are very clean and the floors are spotless. There is nothing worse than going into a tanning salon and feeling that it is not clean. I am happy I found this tanning salon. The sunless booth is great too. Pros: very clean beds, floors, etc more

Tanning is nature's makeup. Beach Bum Tanning does a great job at the art of tanning. The are great from the minute you walk in to the the time you leave. Free tanning on Sundays is great. Pros: free tanning sundays Cons: a little busy at times more

Fantastic Tan, sunless !! 5/20/2007

Wow, I had a wonderful experience @ Beach Bun 14th street !! I wanted the spray tan, they have a great machine, California sunless. The staff gave me a tour of the beautiful store, and showed me just how to use the machine. It wasn't a closed spray booth, but an open spray machine, very cool !! I got great color, it was fantactic !! I'll be back tor more tans !! Pros: sunless tanning Cons: none I found more

Very nice tanning salon. I like friendly staff and new beds. Great location near shopping and my school. Always tan before you go clubbing ;-) I love their shirts ?Get Nakked?, and I always do get nakked when I get there. See you guys soon. (nakked I misspelled on purpose) more

Great Tanning in New York City. Nice results. 5/20/2007

I have been tanning regularly for over a year. This Location is always clean, and staff is always friendly. Never had to wait for a bed. Location is convenient but there is no parking. Staff makes me feel like a queen. I love their candy (the green ones), and always grab a fist full on my way out. I like the name too. Beach Bum? That?s who I am... Haha. more

Tanning Salon at its Best !! 5/20/2007

I agree! Very nice location. Cool music and tons of Tanning lotions. I am a professional dancer in Manhattan so perfect tan it?s a must. This place is my favorite, I can tan after work witch is like 11pm. Great Tanning beds. Top of the line. I recommend the P-90 (I think that?s the name.) It looks like a spaceship, and it has tons of gadgets. Friendly girl working up front showed me how to use it and it ROCKS!! Love your Salon! Pros: Hi tech beds more

Great tanning experience. 5/20/2007

This is a new salon in the area, so I decided to check it out since it's across from NYSC. I told them I had an event to go to over the weekend, and I know I waited to the last second (as usual) since it was Wednesday, but I needed a hookup. They recommended this sweet tanning booth that was huge and spacious and had all these things like aromatherapy and water-spritz, and then they said go in to the sunless spray tan. I did what they said and again on Friday. On Saturday, the night of my event, WOW I had the nicest tan in the whole place. Thanks Beach Bum, I am hooking up a membership next week!!! Pros: Open late hours, big variety of tanning booths and sunless spray tan. Cons: Absolutely none! more

Very nice Tanning Salon. Near NYU. 5/20/2007

I went to the 14th street location, and I was fully impressed. Girls up front were very friendly, and they helped me select nice lotion that smelled like coconut. The tan was great! I went for 10 minutes on Starship bed, and it was great.! I guess the bulbs were new. I just signed up for Monthly membership with them. And now I visit the new store they have opened in Forest Hills. (Nice looking guy works there  Pros: Close to NYU. I can get tan on my lunch break. more

Beach Bum is the BEST Place for Tanning in NYC. 5/20/2007

Beach Bum is the place! The ambiance was very nice, and clean.I was shown around to see all of their tanning beds during my first visit. Their beds were the nicest, and they looked so hi tech.The customer service was great and was very personable. I've been to this salon several times and always have a consistently pleasant experience. Pros: Open 24 hours a day. Thats wild !!! more

Hands down best Tanning Salon 5/20/2007

I've been tanning now for about 15 years and trust me when I say I have not seen better. From there bed selection to being open late every day, spotless, and friendlt staff how can you beat that? I went to Long Island yesterday and wouldn't you know they where even out there. My wife tried there new sunless tan spray booth that has NO after sent, you have to give it a try. Def a must see for all you tanners. Pros: Bed selection, staff, hours Cons: parking more

just the right tanning experience to get you out of the dreary weather we have been having. Tanning here was great. I love this place. Could whoever decorated this tanning salon decorate my apartment. Loved the tanning beds, the staff and the extras. I shouldn't tell everyone how good a tanning salon this place is. I am not a fan of tanning salon chains. I usally think that individual tanning salon owners give better service. But, these guys do tanning right. You can feel the chain when it matters: the equipment, the professionalism, the obvious training, the clever merchandising. But, the personalized touches and personalized service makes this tanning salon special. Please do not go here. I want it all to myself. If everyone finds out, I won't be able to get on my favorite tanning bed. Pros: Thumbs up. A great place I do not want to share Cons: too good more

Tanning has never been so comfortable. The staff was great, the tanning rooms were roomy, the beds we great and the tan was the best I ever had. I really think it was the staff being so helpful that contributed to my great tan. It was the right exposure time, the right tanning lotion, the right time between tans. I have to tell you, customer service is the key to a perfect tan. Happy tanning as we get ready for summer tanning at the shore. Pros: tanning comfort and style more

The best tanning lotion selection and most educated tanning staff around 5/19/2007

I was overwhelmed by the tanning lotion selection at this tanning salon. I thought there was no way the tanning consultant could know what was best for me. She selected a tanning bronzer with a self tanner in it. I loved my tan, a really liked the tanning lotion and was thankful for the customer service. All in all, the best tanning experience ever. I am a seasonal tanner and start tanning about this time every year. I have been to several tanning salons and usally forget the right steps. The employees at this tanning salon were very helpful. They walked me to my tanning bed, showed me how to operate it, made sure I was comfortable and really made me feel secure. This is how tanning is supposed to be: relaxing and cool.
