Professional, loving and great is what I can say! I went to Bark Ave grooming salon last week and my yorke looked great! They really know how to do ""right yorkie head"". The kind you see and how its supposed to be done. You can tell these groomers went to the right school. It's also nice to see their credentials on the wall as you walk in. It made me feel safe that my yorkie was in the right hands. Plus the girls there, ""groomers"" , are so loving towards my yorkie, sofie. I'm sure that if you give them a try, they will give you and your pet the best service as they have given me and mine. I will never go anywhere else. This place is the best! They are now open Tuesday-Saturday by appointment. The owner is an awesome groomer and so is the new groomer there. Both are from N.Y. bringing the awesome new fancy cuts to Clayton. Altogether with 23 years experience, your dog will look and feel its best. They are advid animal lovers so your dog will not be""an item"". Welcomed with open arms and kisses bringing a new style of fancy to the grooming world. Highly knowledgeable about your pets concerns..I have never seen such a gentle, kind, patient and great energy groomer in my life like Stephanie the new groomer there. My dog was scared after going somwhere else, but after a groom with Stephanie, he came back to her afterwards with kisses and wagging tail. He also stopped shaking while in her arms.What a gift this girl has! Plus the cut was amazing. My dog looks proud and gets so many compliments. They also offer cat grooming at the clients house in the evenings, and done right in front of you. Plus the shop is so clean. This is by far the place you want to go. I called for information on an adopted adult dog that we had just taken in. The groomer was very friendly - gave me lots of information in general on grooming a standard poodle... and wasn't at all impatient when I was clueless. She charged less than all the other places that I called - and our muttadoodle looks great! He is an 85 pound dog and he seemed to really enjoy his time there. Making an appointment was easy. She couldn't fit us in ""that day"" but she gave us options for the next and the next... We don't ever plan on going anywhere else. Pros: Couldn't be happier more

Elaine is an awesome groomer, she tries hard to fit us in whenever we have an ""emergency"" groom that needs to be done on one of our dogs. Otherwise we just book in advance and we can pick almost anyday or time we want. The other poster says she has limited hours but I checked the hours listed on her door and they say open Tues. Thurs. Fri. and Sat. plus extended days and hours upon request. That seems good to me. We have a peek-a-poo and a small poodle and they come out looking so nice and smelling clean. Who turns AWAY business? Are you telling me that you are only open several hours a day and you can't stay open an extra hour to get more business? Really? This business will go under with this mentality just like all the other business's have in this community. If you don't want to work, then don't work, but if you want a successful business then you need to stay open. Cons: The hours are extremely limited so they turn away business. more
