First time I walked into this restaurant was 6 years ago and I have been coming back since then. Huge variety of seafood, good quality and perfect location. Combining those you get great experience. Must try their clam chowder. DELICIOUS!!!. The food is great! Prices are good, and the location is perfectly located on the coast. (FYI: the map is incorrect, locate it using some other website. My wife and I have been here a few times and never get past the fish trap combo meal. It's a ton of food, so we just split it. They have a good batter and the fries are decent. I debate that their clam chowder is actually a stew since it contains no cream/dairy. The cash only limits how much we get, but the portion size for the fishtrap has always been more than enough. This place can get a bit crowded, and has a bit of a wait sometimes. No reservations so no way to get around it unless you go to the outdoor window and take it elsewhere. Pros: Good Fried Fish Cons: Cash Only, Busy more

After finding the reviews on city search, our family decided to take a drive up the coast & tempt our taste buds with Barbara's fist trap. We waited a little longer than anticipated, but the food was well worth the wait. the fried calamari & tempura mushrooms were yummy tid bits while we waited for our meals. The beer special was grat for under $2. The fish n chips were crunchy yet juicy & delicious thru & thru. We will be making the hour long drive back up the coast, just to get "caught" in Barbara's fish trap again! Pros: water-front view, beer-special Cons: no credit-cards more

Nice ocean view with the option of inside or outside seating. Informal. it was full with a Saturday lunch crowd, yet they cleared tables quickly and waits were in the 10 minute range. They were kept quite busy but were still very friendly. An extensive menu. Even battered and fried fish was done crispy outside with a light touch on the fish. They say 'tempura' style, the batter is more American but the approach is the same with no aftertaste from the frying oil. Generous portions to say the least; 2 kids should easily split a plate. Pros: desserts!, beers galore, parking Cons: no reservations, no c/c but atm nearby more
