Bar None is really fun!! Went there last weekend with a bunch of my girlfriends and had a great time! There's beer pong in the back if you get there early enough, then a dj and ...

My girlfriends and i went to Bar None for Halloween because we were told they were hosting a Costume Contest and that the winners would win bar tabs (which is a sweet deal to a co...

Party scene dies fast 1/10/2003

I've been to this bar twice, and it always starts out fun, but it definatley gets old pretty fast. Happy hour, 11pm, is the best time to arrive. Drinks are cheap...and I don't drink beer. If you're into pool, you can usually catch a game, or simply flirt with a cute guy on the table and maybe take a couple shots. If you're into dancing, beware, gets really crowded. Music is descent, but this place just seems like an underage last resort. It's a good place to start out your night. Pros: cheap drinks, social scene Cons: crowded, location more

Best Place to Party! 12/17/2002

Ahhaha All the users that have given BARNONE a low rating are DEFINATELY just rival bar owners on that block! Go there and see for yourself.. Barnone may have been divey 4 years ago but this place is totally revamped! Ratio is some of the best I've seen.. Bartenders are simply the BEST. And the Crowd ROCKS. If you wanna go out drink and have a blast, you can't get better than this place. Pros: Hot Bartenders, Reasonable Pricing, Great Crowd Cons: Not Open 24 Hours more

Those bartenders are FAB 12/1/2002

Okay, this is not your typical upscale shi-shi lounge. Frankly, it's a dirty, divey hole in the wall, but honestly that's what my friends and I needed last weekend -- a really laid-back, FUN place where we could drink, dance and be merry. And HELLO, can we say gorgeous bartenders??? We had Angella pouring us shots all night. I just moved to NYC last year and I bring all my out-of-town friends here to just HAVE FUN. Pros: Cute Asian bartender, Dance floor, Cheap! Cons: Dirty, Bouncers can be jerks more

reviews are correct 11/18/2002

The Reviews are pretty accurate. The kind of customers that go to these bars are pretty much the type of kids that have ""Mad Phat Yo"" in their vocabulary. I went on a saturday night and the guy/girl ratio was about 10/1. For the bars sake I hope there was a frat party going on at the time. But I don't need to be bulldozed by a bunch of 200 pound gorillas when I am drinking. Pros: Bartenders are cute Cons: Dirty more

Bar none is quality 10/25/2002

Someone before said the staff is trashy is out of their mind. I know all of the bartenders and can vouch for that... bn is a great place to go for happy hr... has great music at night... good place to go w/ friends, get trashed, and have a good time... the only people to call it trashy are those who like your regular sheik upscale bar.. this is more of a tavern more

Get drunk cheap 9/9/2002

Soo cheesy, but also soo much fun! My friends come here every so often to fire ourselves up for a crazy night out. The crowd is pretty aware of how cheesy the place is, and eats it up. I suggest the ""combo of death"". Start your evening down at Jeremy's Ale House and come up here for Power Hour. If you're still standing, then you're a champ! more

Frat Party -- but better 8/8/2002

Bar None's atmosphere is listed as ""Happy Hour."" I'd have to disagree -- a recent college graduate, I'd have to characterize Bar None's atmosphere as that of a frat party -- only better. People don't come to Bar None to show off Greek letters; they come to drink, and drink hard. The bartenders are friendly, the bouncers have a sense of humor, and the music is generally great to dance to. Power Hour is the best way to start off your night. The bar is dark and dingy - the perfect place to get bombed college-style. Pros: Inexpensive, Young, Good music Cons: Small more

great 7/24/2002

I love this place. It's my local school bar and we all go and always have a great time. more

can't beat $2 drinks 7/24/2002

Go for happy hour which runs till about 11- after that drinks are full price (which is still pretty cheap for the location) but there's an annoying cover charge if you go late, which there's really no point. This is a good bar to start at- always fairly busy, very young collegy crowd and a refreshing change. more

Greatest Bar to Hook-Up 7/18/2002

Bar None has great girls, cheap drinks, great college scene. All college kids, good on almost any night, but not till after 10, cheap cover when there is a cover, only $5. Can get really crowded though, but if you are single and looking and want to dance to great music (popular rap, bon jovi, classic rock hits) go here anytime. Pros: Cheap, Attractive people, Great Dancing Cons: crowded, hot more

Great Crowd, Even Better Value 7/17/2002

Any given night before 11pm you can have $2 beer pints. The atmosphere and dancefloor usually pick up around this time, once everyone has the liquid courage going. Music is all songs you know, anything from Madonna's Like a Prayer to Bon Jovi's Living on A Prayer to an old school hip-hop classic. Age range is relatively young (21-25) and place is a favorite amongst the interns and college student scene. Definitely a great place to start the night off. Pros: Inexpensive, good variety of music, good dancing Cons: sometimes too crowded more

4 7/15/2002

In all honesty I could see Bar None as being a pretty chill place for he undergrad scene. perhaps not the most descript word...but the place was SHADY. It's called Bar None cause NONE of us should have ever gone to this BAR. $5 cover?...Because there wasn't anyone there to buy drinks and make the owners money!! Excuse me for being critical but an honest evaluation leads me to the conclusion that i will never frequent this venue again. there are far better places with a like crowd that are worth your patronage. Pros: inexpensive Cons: shady bouncers, poor maintainence more

Good, Cheap Fun 7/11/2002

Although this is for the most part a college bar, there is a good mix of early-mid twentysomethings that hang out here. The decor is nothing special. The bartenders are quick. The drinks are bargains (there are times when drinks are only $2!!) although not the best drinks out there. For the most part, if you just want to have some laid-back fun with a good mix of young people, head over to Bar None. I've always had a good time there. Just don't get too dressed up or you'll stand out like a weirdo. Pros: Cheap drinks, Mix of good-looking, people Cons: cover more

beer sloshing funfest! 6/5/2002

Nightly power hour from 11-12 every night! All drinks during this time are $2. Some chick came up to me and asked me to buy her a shot or dance with her. I said no to both because she was of a less appealing visual quality, and then went to the bathroom. When I got back, she was sitting in my seat and drinking my beer! I like the nerve, but no one drinks my beer without asking! Fun place. Pros: cheap beer Cons: cover charge more
