Tim Huizinga, DMV is horrible! 6/4/2011

Dr. Huizinga is a horrible vet - he is scared of all dogs larger than around 20lbs so if you have a larger dog I would not go there. We have two large dogs which only he (not the other vets) has labeled "aggressive" which they are not. He recently said he is making us sedate our male dog for any future visits, which is dangerous for dogs to go under just as it is for adults. I can understand if he wants to muzzle our dog if it makes him feel better, but not sedating them which would be a lot of extra expense, but more so the danger that bothers us. Crazy - I never heard of that. Run away from Dr. Tim Huizinga unless you have a 20lb dog or less! more

RIP OFF 12/10/2006

What a horrible excuse of a business! I took my Boston Terrier puppy there for his first shots. Extremely over priced. They convinced me to buy their "health plan" at a monthly rate to cover future health conditions and neutering. When I took him in the next couple of illnesses, of course there were all these additional expenses. On top of the "health plan" I still ended up paying them over $1000 for minor situations. The place is a total scam! more

Very Expensive, but they get the job done 11/3/2005

We got a puppy a few months ago, and this was the closest vet to us. We thought that being a large chain, that it would be a good idea to go there. Well at first it was ok, but they said that we had to go every 2 weeks to get her shots, and pay for an office visit each time. Later I found out that a lot of other vets will only charge for hte services, and not charge an office visit. so When we move, we will be finding someone who is cheaper. PROS: not a long wait CONS: expensive more
