I never suspected that steak frites could be so bad. My steak was grey and overcooked. The fries weren't fries at all, but rather fried potato strips that looked like they should ...

Editorial review from Citysearch 2/14/2014

If you aren't staying here there really isn't a reason to go into this old school Vegas hotel. I saw the showgirls show (can't remember the name) which was fun with my girlfriend. It was a deal for $22 a ticket. Worth the price. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 2/12/2014

A really old hotel that needs renovating on the outside. They have recently renovated their rooms which is a plus. The hotel does have an older crowd. However, if you wan to be in the center of the strip, it is a good place to stay. more

Amazing Staff !! 3/23/2012

We went here for a close friends wedding, it is a beautiful place, the food was delicious, the staff could not do enough for everyone. It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at SweetHotelDeals.us They usually have some pretty good deals on there! more

do not waste your money like we did 12/16/2009

watch your credit card bill , you will be billed for more than they tell you and guess what else - no refunds - we did not meet anyone there that was happy afterwards all had the same feeling as us . we are not allowed on here to tell you all of the truth so - save your money Pros: none at all Cons: deceptive - lies - rude employees more

What happens in Paris LV will not stay in Paris LV 12/16/2009

Stayed there this year in a nice room, and to sum things up, I got eaten alive by bed bugs. They infested my suitcase and unfortunately took some home, hence what happens in Vegas sometimes comes home with you in the form of little critters. So DOUBLE check your bag before going home and don't leave clothes lying around in the room, they'll crawl into your pockets and stuff. I had rashes and scabbing for months. It wasn't fun. Hotel did not help at all even though they knew about the problem. Pros: Nice looking tower Cons: thats about it more

You Get What You Pay For 12/1/2008

Loved the steakhouse. I would say this restaurant was a great introduction to the Paris Hotel & Casino. The wait wasn't long but the handsome server was worth the 5 minutes we spent waiting on a nice table. With a choice of sitting inside or out, we felt a light breeze while still feeling apart of the sensual environment of the restaurant. We chose the best selections on the menu. With the price not being a factor, I got a wonderful cut of steak...the Filet Mignon. My friends and I enjoyed the French-inspired view, the fine dining, the innocent flirting with the waiter, and most of all, the large bill at the end (psych!). If you're looking for a fine selection of steaks, and a nice view inside the restaurant and out, this is your place. more

Favorite restaurant! 10/2/2008

We have been to this restaurant several times now and everytime the service is great and the food incredible! It is worth the wait for a table outside to watch the Bellagio fountains while you eat. Pros: Great food and atmosphere! more

Must eat the steak! 9/28/2008

Ok, I'm salivating again, just thinking about this place. I'm writing this review almost 3 months since we ate there. Incredible service, incredible steaks. We used the drippy juice around the steaks, which melted in our mouths, to dip our frites in. It makes me wish I could go back there tonight. It was so amazing. Arguably our best meal in Vegas. The waitstaff was so well trained and was anticipating our every move, but not in a creepy way. So romantic, too, right across from the Bellagio. It was a very happy, memorable night. more

Avoid on Valentines Day!!! 9/10/2008

On 2007 Valentines day, my boyfriend and I showed up for our reservation which was made three weeks in advance. We stood in line for 1hr. in a mile long line, before we decided to go somewhere else. We asked the hostess how many reservations were made? She replied they booked 100 reservations per each hour! If you have ever been in this restaurant, it is not possible to turn over 100 reservations per each hour! This is not suposed to be a buffet style dining experience! We were extremely disappointed on our very first valentines day. more

Yum. 7/16/2008

Go for lunch and get the chopped salad. Soooo tasty. And the place is great because although it's in a hotel, once you're inside and especially in the solarium area, you don't feel like you're near a casino. Love that. more

Best Shrimp Appetizer! 6/20/2008

Dined here twice on our last trip to vegas. The shrimp appetizer was great. Also, they know how to cook their steaks. Even the thin cuts are very tender. Be sure to sit outside in the evening - it is not too hot once the sun goes down behing the Bellagio. Pros: Great Appetizers Cons: Cramped dining space more

Good for groups small or large 3/12/2008

I recently hosted an event at this restaurant for almost 15 people and have only good news to report. The food and the service were great and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. You may sit outside and enjoy a lovely view of the Bellagio fountains or inside in the french style dining room that was just adorable. Our resvervation was honored promptly and teh service was great from begining to end. Everyone enjoyed the food especially the superb onion soup and steak frittes. The salmon and orzo was also quite tasty. I woudl recommend this restaurant for a resonably priced meal on the strip for two or for 10. Pros: Service, Food, View, Atmosphere more

Fabulous food, cocktails and service! 3/10/2008

This was definitely the best meal we ate while in Vegas. The food was wonderful and so was the service, but thankfully it also wasn't uptight like some more expensive places. Appletinis are wonderful here, and so are the steaks. The filets were so tender and had such a wonderful flavor. I completely recommend the bread pudding for dessert. It is absolutely to die for--even better than the creme brulee! Come early if you want to sit on the patio so you can watch the fountains at the Bellagio, they even put heaters outside when it's a little on the cold side. Pros: view, steak, service more

Best Steak in Vegas 2/6/2008

We were referred to Mon Ami Gabi by friends and it was the best meal we had during our 4 night stay in Vegas. We all had different selections of steaks with frites (decadent french fries), great Martinis and wish we had eaten there all 4 nights. We had another steak dinner at twice the price and was nowhere near as good. The atmosphere is just like a french bistro. more

I would eat here every day! 2/2/2008

We enjoyed a perfect lunch on the patio. Service was excellent, the onion soup- oh my! The seafood crepe, the finest. Everything was delicious, nicely served and what an enjoyable patio it is! Pros: Outstanding value. I made reservations online-simple to do Cons: smokers on the patio more

Good Location BUT NOTHING ELSE! 11/17/2007

I came for a conference and learned the hard way; I will never stay at this hotel again. It is time to upgrade and remodel. Unfortunately, the rooms are dark and outdated; the furniture is from the late 1960's or early 70's. The carpet is old and needs to be replaced too. The mattress and pillows need updating also, the beds did not have comforters. The hallways are dark and dingy. If you like old and don't mind putting up with less ambience, this hotel is for you. I would compare this hotel to a Motel 6. The only good thing is that it is connected to the Paris Hotel and across the street from Bellagio and Caesar's. I highly recommended staying at any of the above mentioned hotels. Do not stay at this hotel unless you like a rustic environment. Pay the extra money, stay at another hotel. Pros: Staff & Location Cons: Everything else more

Worst steak frites of my life 8/27/2007

I never suspected that steak frites could be so bad. My steak was grey and overcooked. The fries weren't fries at all, but rather fried potato strips that looked like they should come in a can. This place pumps out thousands of plates/day. How could it be good with such volume? more

prime location 8/16/2007

This hotel is right in the middle of the strip. Close to everything. Next door is Paris and across the street is Bellagio. The rooms are big and the views are good. The entrance to the lobby is kind of weird. You take this moving walkway. It's part of the Harrah's group so you know it's a quality hotel. Pros: location Cons: not so fancy more
