Bahaia Jewell Apartments

Thanks to the new manager that took over at the end of July 2010, Bahia Jewell is actually an awesome place to live. The building is well taken care of, the maintenance guy is on top of everything and the new manager is sweet and friendly. Pets are aloud, it is actually a very pet friendly place. There is a nice courtyard and a lounge on the 2nd floor with a billiard table, card table and a big screen TV and couch with a small kitchen area and bathroom. more

The Bahia Jewell Apartments were the worst experience I have ever had as a renter! I lived in these apartments for one horrible year and would never recommend them to my worst enemy! Our bathtub backed up with sewage off and on the entire year and our manager was reluctant to fix it and when they would send a plumber there was nothing they could do because the pipes are so old in the building. They were doing construction almost the entire year and although the outside looks good now the inside along with the plumbing is still a complete disaster. When we first saw them it looked cute but after a few months of living there we found out it was all just a front to the real problems. they put some paint on the walls and put new appliances in the kitchen to make you think they are updated! I have been moved out for a month and am still fighting with the horrible management who is trying to say that the carpets were new when I moved in when it clearly was NOT. The management changed 3 times in one year and each new manager had no idea what the last one had done or said to anyone so they just say you are ""out of luck"". All three managers were rude and could have cared less about the horrible living conditions the tenants were in. The current manager Angela is one of the most unprofessional and disrespectful people I have ever come across in my 7 years of renting.
