Wow, this is definitely one of those amazing little spots whose reputation of serving flat-out incredible food is growing larger and larger. I stumbled into B.T.'s by chance one day, but now I understand why this place has a huge and loyal following. Simply put, B.T.'s serves the best barbecue I've ever eaten (and those same words came from a coworker who grew up in Texas, too!). The meat is smoked for hours and hours (14, I believe!), the staff is friendly, the food comes out fast, and B.T. himself occasionally serves up something special -- like their ""pig newtons,"" which I have yet to try... Everything I've eaten has been cooked to perfection and seemed very fresh and authentic to what ""real"" barbecue should be like, and I know I'll be heading back there soon, because I really cannot get my mind off the place.\r \r ...I just wish it was closer to my town! more

We recently took a 3 day vacation in Sturbridge to see the sights with our kids. We ate out for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We decided to have bbq one night and went to BT Smokehouse.\r \r This was definately NOT the best bbq we have ever had.\r Service was poor. Like they had someplace better to be. Kids did not finish meals. Brisket and pork was VERY dry even with sauces. Prices a little high.\r \r We will not go back and we don't recommend it. more
