I'm very pleased with the service from Br Movers, These guys walked me through the whole process answered all questions I had. They told me all the charges up front how long it would take. Br movers did are a Perfect Move for us and I just add to drop some good words. a 2 bed room apartment move but there were some difficulties. worked fast and carefully, nothing unexpected happened. They completed the entire move before the schedule. I am very happy with their service and also with the amount that they charged. 5 Movers movers moved my furniture from a storage unit to one bedroom in a house. They did a great job! The only negative thing I would say I they were 10 minutes late, Other than that, they were awesome! They reassembled all my furniture, and were very helpful in placing it why wanted it. They even made an extra stop to pick up furniture that I had at my temporary housing. Communication with the office was done primarily by email, and was responded to promptly. The movers were very professional and the entire experience was great. more

They worked as a unit, approached in an organized manner and made sure that the delicate items were perfectly wrapped and boxed. After receiving the whole inventory in one piece and without any damage They are super communicative (called to confirm and called when en route with box delivery and move), prompt and really friendly. I used these guy once successfully in the past, but my last experience would prevent me from using them EVER again. They tried to cancel my reservation two days before moving into our new house, after having the reservation for months, they showed up late, they came in a larger truck than requested and with an additional mover, they took 40 minutes longer than us to get to the move location, and then tried to charge us FOUR TIMES the original quote. The manager didn't help either - I still had to pay THREE TIMES my original quote or they were going to leave the stuff on the street. HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!! more

Good moving company. They were about 25 minutes late, but they let me know of the delay, which I can appreciate. Moved my furniture very carefully and took care to keep my floor clean as well. Also much appreciated. The movers communicated details very well before we started moving furniture. My move began when I contacted vanlines.com in order to get moving quotes. I spoke with multiple reps from many companies and chose BR Movers on account of the efficient answers to my questions and an all inclusive package. I checked out reviews and while there were no companies out there with 0 bad reviews, BR Movers had many positive reviews as well as being able to provide references! I can see why customers have stood by this company. The following are the reasons why I rate BR Movers as SUPERB: 1. The movers were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 10 in the morning and they arrived at 9:07 am. (Perfect) 2. The head mover of the moving crew spoke perfect English, and immediately got to work on explaining everything to me. 3. After updating what I told the company about my inventory (removed a television, added 3 lamps and a painting I forgot), the movers gave me the updated total BEFORE the move began. 4. The original quote included Full Packing Service so I would not have to pack or pay anything over the quote for materials. On the date of the move, the movers did just that. They packed all of my belongings like they actually cared. 5. The total amount I paid was exactly what we agreed upon. 6. The movers were amazing - no laziness or smoke breaks - amazing. The items have now been delivered and I can verify that there is nothing broken or missing from my household. The movers also offered me recommendations on other reliable services since I would be renting out my home here on the east coast. All in all, BR Movers held up their end of the bargain and gave me the service I deserved. Thank you. more

I went with BR Movers for my move within the District of Columbia after filling out an online request form. Little did I know that a 100 movers were going to call me. And call me...and email...and call some more. Some of them were nice but most of them were just plain rude. I don't know how business is done in alot of places but here, no one wants to be called so many times a day and then yelled at and pressured into moving with a certain company. That's why when I spoke with Jennifer I was pleasantly surprised. She didn't call me everyday and whenever I told her I wasn't ready yet she just said "no problem!" so no pressure - which was nice. She took her time in answering all of my questions and recording all of my information. That is why I chose BR Movers. Now this is why I would choose them again - the movers arrived on time and seemed normal enough. I liked that they weren't day labor and presented themselves in BR Movers attire. They got right to work looking everything over. The leader of the crew explained all the paperwork and let me know that my glasstop table would have to be packed (I forgot to tell the rep that my table was glass) so I paid for those materials and about 30 minutes extra of labor time. So the estimate was right on point! I appreciated the simplicity of all the aspects of my move thanks to BR Movers! more
