I took my wife there as an anniversary present for a massage, hot tub soak, and pedicure. When we arrived we were exactly 7 minutes late as we got lost on the way. The receptionist was extremely rude but we got in for our massage. After the soak, we were told that becuse we were late, there was no time for a pedicure. The recepionist then told us we had been scheduled for 1:30, and not 2 PM as we had thought. My wife was positive it had been for 2 PM, but the receptionist and the manager insisted it wasn't, and refused to do anything at all. The whole time, there were three employees sitting at the window just talking and laughing. We finally left, and lo and behold, on our home phone was a message from the receptionist from the day before, saying our appointment was at TWO PM! We called back and again the staff was rude and derrogatory. This was a horrible experience and the employees obviously do not care at all about their customers. We will never go back, and I can't see how Aveda can stand to have their products support such a shoddy and rude establishment.
Pros: The massages were very good, and the masseuse was nice
Cons: The receptionist and management staff were rude and dismissive
