Great little local place that is easy to miss, their sushi is fresh and delicious. The owner is so kind and is always helpful, should try to sit at sushi bar and with John as you...

Great Food... but slow service 9/16/2010

I went there last night (Sept. 15th)... I ordered #14 on the Combo menu list... and the food was great... atmosphere is pretty good too... however, the only negative comment I have is the service was slow. Service means a lot to me... the waitress are nice, don't get me wrong... just slow. I think I waited approx. 10 mins to get my bill... I didn't see any of the girls behind the counter/register area. They were not on the floor (meaning with customers). Not sure what happened. I will eat there again... and I hope service is better. more

Great local secret 10/17/2009

Great little local place that is easy to miss, their sushi is fresh and delicious. The owner is so kind and is always helpful, should try to sit at sushi bar and with John as your sushi chef. There are always new waitresses that are college students and they are never organized. And the restaurant closes from 2:30-5 p.m. for lunch and they are closed every Monday, overall very much worth it. You will not be disappointed. Pros: Fresh sushi, great experience, sit at bar. Cons: There are always new waitresses which are not organized more

Best sushi in town 4/27/2009

We've tried many sushi bars and this by far the best sushi we've ever tasted more

All about the experience 5/28/2008

This may not be the best sushi you will have, but you will have a good time! The sushi is pretty tasty but not the best and leans towards a middle range price. The crowd is diverse catering to couples and friends of all ages and definitely pulls a good crowd from the local Whittier college student body. The restaurant is small with minimal outdoor seating and is almost always packed, so reservations on the weekends especially with big groups are recommended. It is friendly but be prepared for a few tables to get a little loud when the college students start on rounds of saki bombs! Pros: fun atmosphere good sushi Cons: limited seating more
