I have been living in Archstone apartments ( here and in other property ) for the last 6 years and i never had issues with them. Even if there is a problem, i would get a proper response and issue will be resolved soon. \r
But after it became Avana, i ( and few other friends ) started facing almost the same problem. \r
The rent is little high compared to other apartmentsin this area, but because of the facilities they have, spacious and ample parking, i liked the community; except for the staff and management.\r
Move in here if u want to live in a Nice community managed by Un-professional, rude, irresponsible management and staff who dont care about resident,who dont take ownership of issues/complaints and usually dont respond well for ur questions.\r
Their billing side equally awful, and staff have no clue when u ask a question about billing; they jst ask us to contact ""the 3rd party billing company"" who in turn say ""we do what property owners ask us to do"" .. so jst kick us around. even among our friends who live in the same community, the billing varies so much ( like charging few ppl for valet trash along with normal trash ( 25$ 20$ ) and few are charged only $20. they are trying to phase out the ""common trash dump"" and bring in valet trash. OK .. thats good. but why should i pay double for that. even a home owner may not pay $45 for trash every month.\r
when u call them from a billing issue, after all the kicking around, they will try to arrive at a compromise to adjust in your account. how come they ""jst like that"" adjust in our account, like they are giving us free money, instead of resolving the issue. Also, the same issue might be there for most of other residents too.\r
