Good Job - One Concern 8/19/2013

Recently had my transmission serviced to stop a fluid leak. It was very successful and I was satisfied. My one concern is that on my invoice, where suggested repairs are listed, they said my front brake linings were very thin and should be replaced. This is not true; the front brake linings were replaced (by my son-in-law) about a month before this service appointment I do not believe this was a phony attempt to get some work (as practiced by many of the chain repair shops) but merely a lazy repeating of a prior assessment without actually checking the condition of the brakes before recommending replacement. At first I was upset, thinking I was being scammed - but then realized they were just repeating a prior assessment. Probably not a good practice if it leads to distrust. My suggestion is that they rethink this policy and make sure suggested repairs are actually needed. more

Honest and Skilled 8/2/2013

Arlin, Joe and the mechanics always do a great job, whether I need something major (which is rare, since they do excellent maintenance). They will point out something that is needed, but never try to sell me on something that is uneccesary. It is a pleasure to work with them, and I have recommended to many friends. more

Marvelous mechanics 7/31/2013

We have had two vehicles serviced at this auto shop for several years. Arlin is always polite and professional, in addition to being wonderfully knowledgeable. He is willing to answer all questions and does not condescend to women asking questions about cars. He has proven himself to be honest and we place a lot of trust in his advice regarding our vehicles. We recomment this business to anyone looking for a reliable auto shop. more

A fair, honest assessment of my car's needs. Quality workmanship by skilled employees. I never felt that I was being jerked around as I have at other shops. This is probably not the cheapest shop in town but, to me, honesty and quality workmanship rank higher than "cheap." more

Excellent, honest service 7/18/2013

This is the only garage in town that I would ever use for my auto repairs. I have a close friend who is a mechanic, and he has been unable to work on my vehicle for some time now. Arlin and his crew treat me with respect and talk to me honestly and politely. I have driven old cars for some time and understand how they work. I just don't know how to fix them. It is good to know that I will be treated fairly here. more
