Avoid This Tire Shop 10/30/2012

Far from no hassle...I ordered a set of 4 higher end tires online and received two confirmation calls from my local AutoTire. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment time, they spent 20 minutes looking for the tires only to tell me that they had received the wrong tires and suggested I take a lower speed rating as a replacement. I declined and asked if any other AutoTire had the tire in since I had taken off work to get new tires before winter. They said they would go get them from another location. After waiting approximately 4 hours and being sold on an alignment, I was able to leave with new tires on my car. When I got home I realized that not only did my tires not match what was on my receipt, but they were not the tires I had asked for and ordered. When I called to let them know, they finally admitted that a sales associate sold my correct tires the night before my appointment and that if I wanted the other tires I needed to come back up that same day so they could process the more

I purchased a set of 4 tires, alignment and an oil change. The service was horrible and they made no apologies. They sold my special order tires to another customer the night before my appointment and installed the wrong tires on my car thinking I wouldn t notice. This all took 6 hours as they scrambled to find something similar. The manager said he thought they were better tires so he didn t bother telling me. They also failed to tell me that they broke a TPMS sensor while replacing the tires the second time to put on the ones I actually wanted. This whole ordeal has resulted in me returning to the place of service 6 times for what should have only taken one trip. I have spent a combined total of more than 10 hours over two weeks in their waiting area. I urge you, if you value your time and your vehicle, to find another place to receive auto service in this area. more

The most ethical repair shop in town 5/12/2006

In our three years of residing in the area, Autotire has been the most amazing resource of help and repair for our vehicles. We know that when we bring in our car for maintenance or repair, no "new problems" will crop up unexpectedly. The gentlemen there are always kind, friendly, and courteous. The waiting room is large and usually kept quite clean, and includes a vending machine. However, with historic Main Street at your fingertips, we never have problems passing the time while our vehicle is repaired. more
