This guy is crazy...First your idea that an intake induction cleaning can be done for ten bucks is CRAZY!!! An intake induction cleaning is more than just pouring a can of conditioner in the tank. As far as a vacuum leak causing a fuel pump, which is an electrical component located INSIDE the fuel tank, is COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE. The 2 systems are TOTALLY unrelated. Now that I got that out of the way, I took my Truck into Auto Xtreme, after it had been to 6 other local repair facilities, including 3 dealers, for a prob that I have been having for almost a month & have spent $1200 on trying to get fixed. They located the problem within an hour & had it fixed for under $100. I MUST SAY THAT I AM COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY BY THEIR HONESTY & SERVICE!!! KUDOS TO AUTO XTREME. **AS FAR AS THIS OTHER GUY GOES...SOUNDS TO ME LIKE HE GOT TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THE SHOP THAT SOLD HIM A FUEL PUMP. more

In Dec 2009 I took my vehicle to this shop for repair. After completion I was charged $150 and told that I needed a $250 induction cleaning. I declined and after some research found that this could be done for approximately $10. My vehicle continued to run poorly for months but I had lost trust in Auto Xtreme so I did not return. Finally another auto repair shop found the problem - Auto Extreme had fraudently attached a small piece of heater hose in place of the agreed upon pcv hose assembly. The heater hose had failed and caused a large vacuum leak destroying my fuel pump in the process. The fuel pump repair then cost $650. Auto Xtreme is a xtreme SCAM. Cons: SCAM more
