After seeing their commercial repeatedly, I decided to take my car to Bottom Line Auto Repair. I have taken our car to a few other repair shops with no luck and much disappointment. So, I thought I'd give them a try.
I first took my car there in early Feb 2007 because it was making a ticking noise and because it has had electrical problems since we purchased it.
They worked on it for about 1 1/2 weeks. They had it for this long because they were having such a hard time finding the source of the electrical problems. When we got the car back, the ticking was taken care of, but they were unable to figure out what was causing the electrical problems. We agreed to revisit this issue at a later date.
We recently took the car there again because the ticking sound came back and there were some other problems w/ the AC/heat and we were of course still having the electrical problems.
Two days later, we have our car back with every thing fixed at a very reasonable rate.
The staff appear honest, are always very friendly and work hard to explain and help you understand what repairs they made and why. They also show you the old parts that they replaced so you can see for yourself that they were faulty in some way. The shop itself is neat and clean as well.
The only complaint I have about Bottom Line is that they are not too good at keeping you updated on progress with the car. I've always had to call them to inquire about progress. I think this is due in part to the fact that they are often pretty busy. I think they are always busy because they do a good job and try to be as accommodating as possible.
Unfortunately, I've always had bad luck with cars. Therefore, I'm always looking for a reliable repair shop. I hope that I do not need any more car repairs any time in the near future, but if I do, I will definitely not hesitate to call them.
