I return to Automobile Detectives because I trust Kirk and his staff. They have never tried to push me to do services that are not needed. They make recommendations; however, leave the decision to me. They are honest, reliable, reasonably priced. more

Rat's Nest Cleanup 5/13/2013

In addition to good work on the car. You not only cleaned up the "rat's nest" for free, you sent a car to let me come and see it for myself. That was very thoughtful. I have told a number of people about it. Thanks. I can't think of many car repair places that would have done that. Ted more

At Last! - An Honest, Competent Mechanic 4/26/2013

Just recently had a major preventative maintenance performed (replace plugs, adjust valve clearances, etc) on a 10 year old Acura. Excellent job. Engine runs like new (notable improvement). Shop also replaced an air intake boot at cost - just because they noticed the old one needed replacing. Thanks guys! Only reason this isn't a 5-star rating is the car was returned with hand prints all over the fenders and hood. If you're looking for a competent mechanic who charges a fair price, then look no further than Auto Mobile Detective. Kirk and Andrea and their quality staff will treat you right. more

Oil Leak Concern 3/31/2013

Thought we had a oil leak and brought vehicle in for technician to inspect. Technician did thorough check and found no leak for concern. Asked what the charge was for the inspection and Kirk (owner) said NO CHARGE. This is why I deal locally with a Professional Auto Service. more
