Atomic Tattoo

Dropped in one night looking for a tat and it looked like everyone was busy. I kinda milled around the front of the place and eventually the guy who does the piercings came from the back of the shop. I told him what I wanted and he told me that it would be about 2 hours. There was one person who was just getting a small tat ahead of me and there were 3 artists working I believe. He never bothered to check with the artists to see what the timetable was. I waited in the back on the couch playing games on my phone for an update or anything, but no one talked to me again unless I asked them. After 2 hours I asked if there was an update, and all he did was repeat what he told me before. Still I trusted them and waited. Same after 3 hours. Finally, after 3 1/2 hours I got someone to ask the artist and he told him that he wasn't going to have time. I left and won't be back. Ended up going to another shop in town and had a much much better experience and I'm very happy with the work as well. If you like attitude this may be a good place for you, but if you want a tattoo, keep looking. more

I have a lot of tattoos. And I have gotten work from some of the biggest names in Texas and the country. I have really high standards for the shop, the artist and especially the work. I now only go to Toby at Atomic. He used to be at another location but now is at the Pflugerville store, but he is WORTH the drive! He is of course a great artist, but is also a great guy, very professional, creative and trustworthy. This is the first review I have ever written on CitySearch, but I felt compelled to give the shop and especially Toby some props. I get a lot of compliments on my tatts, so I know in love them, but it always feels good when other artists and people compliment the work as well. I am in the music biz and everyone has tatts, so I love that mine get noticed for the artistry, technique, etc. Thanks Toby!! more

Got my first tat. Sean took the time to explain everything and even custom designed the rendering i wanted and made it looke better than my expectations. Facility is very clean and professional. Sean went to deep on my tattoo and I have a huge gaping hole in my wrist that bleeds and flesh is showing, they refuse to refund.He says he can fix, as if id let him tattoo me again. I am in pain and bleeding..but they dont care. Be careful in who you trust to ink your body, Atomic Tatto is NOT where you should go. Cons: Sean scarred me, and Atomic wont refund more
