Atlanta Women's Specialists

This is for the Meridian location. Front desk staff is great, friendly and welcoming. Expect a delay...I usually wait at least 30-45 minutes AFTER my appointment time as they are seemingly always running late and they don't really care that you have to get back to work. My biggest issue: each doctor you see will tell you a different story. First, it's we will strip your membrane at 39 weeks, then it's you can have 'elective' induction at 39+ week, then it's well, as a first time mom, we want to see what your body will do on it's own, then it's let's wait for 40+ weeks...very frustrating with the changing/conflicting stories and changing doctors (you never get to see the same one twice in a row since they rotate). Will NEVER use their services again and would NOT recommend. more

The staff at Atlanta Women's Specialists were so professional and courteous during my recent visits. I initially went for a second opinion and I immediately knew I wanted Dr. Johnson to do my surgery. She was extremely knowledgeable and every additional appointment I had to go to from having the MRI to going through my precertification for the hospital gave Dr. Johnson such very high raves\r \r I highly recommend this practice! more

Dr. Michael Dawson is my doctor at this office. He is very kind and knowledgable. After 8 years of seeing infertility specialists, he's the only doctor (and he's not an infertility specialist) who checked my hormones and found a thyroid problem. He sent me to a specialist and 8 months later I was finally pregnant at 42. My daughter was born 9 months later. Pros: Very thorough and kind. Cons: You may have to wait awhile sometimes. more
