if you don't wan to travel far, this is definitely your best bet for jumping in Atlanta! Before you drive all the way down there, make sure you check the weather! Basically, if there's clouds - you probably won't be able to jump. Rescheduling isn't a problem, but make sure that you do the 14K ft jump The most nerve-racking part is signing your life away in the waivers, but once you get over that, it's all down hill from there. FYI you can't jump without signing the waivers and you can't sue them no matter what once you sign the waivers. In addition to the video that you can purchase for the jump, it was nice having my GF on the ground recording video of takeoff and landing from a different angle. If you're really nervous about it, do it with a group.... nothing like watching your friend falling out of an airplane to get you motivated! more

First I must mention that skydiving is probably the most fun you will ever have. It took me a little while to work up the nerve to do it but going with a group of friends (and strangers) helped make the experience even more compelling. The staff at Atlanta Skydiving Center is absolutely amazing as was the whole experience. I highly recommend that if you choose to skydive, go with this group. It could not have been better and we are planning to do it again early next year. Pros: Nearly everything but the first step out was the best. Cons: Lost my $1 in the Coke machine :) more

This business is the biggest fraud I have seen in ages.\r They first have a pastor which will make you pray to get your involved and then ask to pay money on counter.\r Once you pay you are DONE\r \r They have NO refund policy and they will not service you.\r They don't tell you but rain checks have the least priority of all.\r I had to come 4 times to skydive.\r EVERYBODY has to wait at least 5 hours to sky dive and they do not communicate anything to you .\r They run the most crappy operation and quality of video is abysmal.\r For any problem they just ask you to call the number and you will not be able to talk with anyone there... do not fall into this trap. I dont think it wouldve been as memorable if the staff hadnt made me and my friends laugh and added to the thrill of skydiving as a whole while we were there. Ive never been to another skydive center I admit so I couldnt compare but at the same time I never would want to after such an experience of a lifetime such as that. When I first arrived at ASC with my 13 friends, none of us were really having a good day to say the least for reasons I will keep to myself, but from the time we paid for our jumps to the time that we landed we forgot about everything else due to the friendly service and training. Of course the thrill of the actual skydive was unbelievable but it wouldnt have been as great anywhere else i can tell. I would recommend this skydive center over any other in Georgia at least. These guys are a class act. We did our research before hurling ourselves out of an airplane and I am sure happy that we did. Everything that they told us they delivered. We had 9 people in our group and all of us were able to skydive together as promised. The ride in the airplane was amazing and the instructors were making all of us laugh all the way until the actual jump. Exhilarating is what best describes it. It was horrible. We had a group of 15 and made a reservation a month ahead of time. They say to expect to wait 2-3 hours, well we waited about 6 hours. BUT the scary part was that an engine died and one of the propellers went out when the plane was only at 5000 feet. Two of my friends were in the plane and had to make an emergency jump! ASC would NOT refund the rest of us that could not jump and made no apologies for putting people in a dangerous situation. I had Stewart, one of the most experienced guys as my tandem instructor. He was awesome, however, it was only by luck that I got him. You are not allowed to make requests for who you would like which seems extreme considering your life is in their hands. Also, we were scheduled for 1:00 but no one told us how long we were going to wait, etc. and we did not go out on the plane until about 3:15 or 3:30. The staff was not friendly at all until about 20 minutes before you go up in the plane when you meet your instructor. We sat on a bench for two hours without one person saying anything to us and there were lots of people going in and out. What a professional operation! They have a first rate facility and a very friendly and professional staff. Our skydive was from 17,000 feet. I am told this is the highest in America. Pros: professional staff, friendly, best time of my life! more
