Astrid's has a lot of good features, especially considering it's such a small salon. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. Everything is neat and clean. The salon offers Aveda color and styling products, which is a rare find in this area, and the main stylist attended the Aveda school. Overall, this salon is probably a good choice if you want just a cut - but I only recommend Shayla. There is another stylist at the salon who is very nice, but I received a very lopsided cut from her once.\r
If you are looking for a colorist, this salon is a bit iffy. I had mixed results. There are also some issues with professionalism...Don't expect to get a confirmation call the day before your appointment, and don't be surprised if your appointment gets pushed back 30 mins or more at the last minute. Still, given the choices in Springfield, this is a pretty nice salon.
