2:00 am on a cold night is too late to realize you are locked out of your house. Thank goodness for cell phones and Thank goodness for Astoria Local Deadbolt & Key. It wasn’t’ too late for them. They were fast (less than 20 minutes) and had me in the house in about 10 minutes. No extra charge for the middle of the night or cold weather. Fantastic!! more

I lock my keys in my car don't even realize until after my morning class and of course have a paper due and I had only done a rough draft. I call my father crying my eyes out and he goes online to look for locksmiths here in Astoria. So, he does all the hard stuff find them call them pay them over the phone with a credit card I just stood at my car waited about 15 minutes and the guy was here and got me right in my car!!! The locksmith from Astoria Local Deadbolt & Key performed very well and in a timely manner. I locked myself out of my house late at night and I called them and they were able to get inside my house. They also suggested me to buy a new lock because my current one was old, but they did not force it. They gave me time to think about it and after a few days, I called again to have a new lock installed. I appreciate your help! more

I'm full of gratitude of Astoria Local Deadbolt & Key’s amazing generosity with his time, having taken an emergency request to rekey my front door off business hours on a Sunday evening. My keys to my front door had been possibly stolen, and not wanting to take a chance--even though I had spare keys--I found Astoria Local Deadbolt & Key online. After receiving my anxious call, he arrived promptly at 8:30 pm on a Sunday evening, and finished the rekeying easily under an hour--explaining what he was doing to my front door. He seems a very courteous, professional, honest, and kind person, and referred me to another number for the possible needed rekey of my car. Also, he revealed the depth of his knowledge of locks, being able to glance at the lock and know which prior lock set was installed on there due to prior hole drillings. I was so taken by his helpfulness that I felt the need to shake his hand when he finished. more

Joe from Astoria Local Deadbolt & Key was very professional and incredibly helpful. I was looking for someone to install another deadbolt/hotel chain-like security lock on my door-- I'm living alone and the only lock on my door was a weak deadbolt. I called Astoria Local Deadbolt & Key up and he offered to come right away, but I told him that it was a non-emergency and could wait until after the holidays-- but he made an appointment with me for the next day. He brought a number of different options, and explained which he thought would work best and why. Ultimately, I went with a lock because he said he uses it in his own house, and he didn't think I needed to spend tons of money on a huge industrial type lock. He also explained why he advised against the "chain-like" locks. I also felt like the estimate he had given me over the phone was very reasonable, and he actually tried to swing it so that he could charge me less (he ended up having to chisel the door frame, but the cost was exactly what he had quoted.) He was super nice, professional, helpful, honest, and very reasonably priced! more

This is an amazing company! I called around a few places before finding Astoria Local Deadbolts & Key and nobody even compares in customer service! They were incredibly helpful! They knew exactly what he was talking about. I know nothing about locks and had a really simple problem. they could have easily scammed me into a whole new lock but instead they was honest and helped me save money in the end. Thanks guys! more
