Ashbrook Medical Family Practice

I have been seeing Dr.Jackson for a couple of years now.I do agree w/lek1234 though.I am a Christian so I thought it was wonderful to find a Dr.like him.I always had to wait a very long time to get in at my appts.But I did not mind.At first he and his staff were amazing,""dr Brian""is the best.But then as time went on,he seemed to care much more about the cosmetic end of his business.I have very extensive problems,very painful dis orders.I did ask for pain meds,and he was all right with it,very few.but then I injured myself at work,I have 4 herniated discs and degenerative disc disease,and chronic pancreatitis.He began treating me like a criminal almost..so in order to avoid his discomfort in prescribing these meds,I thought it better to go to a pain specialist.bad choice.Anyway,I went to get my bp pills re filled and the pharmacy would not give them to me,she told me doc had refused the rx.I was terrified,I cannot be w/o them.So I called the pharmacy to make sure,and she read EXACTLY what he said to me.He stopped them.I called his office in tears,and told Kim an (""M A"")what had happened.The receptionist called me back being very snotty and rude,telling me he did not do it and gave me some strange excuse.I had to ask her to please stop being rude to me ,The very next day I got a certified letter from him saying he was not going to be my dr anymore because I had ""lost faith""in him!My husband called and asked why he did this to me,his reply was ""I called him a liar""I would never do such a thing.I really did admire ashbrook.but waiting 3 months for a referral fpr an m r i on my back,and getting treated like a criminal for needing pain pills was inexcusable!It broke my heart,and seems he has no concern as a Christian about your illnesses,or sickness,he has drifted further away from helping the sick,to promote his vanity business.And to me,that is complete dis-regard for Gods words.I will never recommend his practice to anyone again.The mental,and emotional trauma he caused me was cruel,and unnecessary. Over 3 months and I still did not get my referral for my m r i..Dr Jackson needs to pick a profession,Because his talents as a medical dr are lacking more and more as time go's by. He has sold out,for ""big Money""instead of being a compassionate medical dr.""I'll say a prayer for him""! more

They are wonderful. I love the professional care but especially the way they care about you and your needs. I find Dr. Jackson to be very good and he has the ability to put you are ease. All of the staff I have dealt with seem to know what they are doing and they do it very well. I would highly recommend Dr. Jackson and the clinic. i found it refreshing they didnt waste time calling nd reminding for appts ect/ i am an adut if i make an appt i'll be there. then people have the nerve to complain if they get charged for missing. .they have taken care of faxing my mail order rxs promptly. i have found there staff to care, to be funny when appropriate and ive never had to overwait in the waiting room like so many places. they seem like family. my son now goes to ashbrook as his pediatrician days are over. i was very sorry to read the negative review on here. i guess it all comes down to personal experience and mine had been good. i kinda like how dr. j and his staff pretty much insist you do things we know we should all do like reg cholest checks and all that. when i go in for yearly physical i really feel he cares and is thourogh. i just wish they would get their scale fixed...its always about 25 to 30 pounds over. ahem Pros: gorggouse staff Cons: gorgouse staff more

The staff at Ashbrook was unprofessional and unreliable. My husband and I have taken our medical records and are going somewhere else. The way they handled our situation was completely in appropriate. I am angry and upset and now we have to wait 3 weeks to find out if there is actually anything wrong with my husband. Dr. Jackson never even called to apologize. He simply sent a letter trying to absolve himself of any legal responsibilities relating to my husbands case. He should focus on his botox business and leave actual health care to someone who cares about their patients. He asks if we want to be prayed for, but his actual medical care is lacking therefore his prayers will do us little help. \r \r I am sincerely dissapointed with my experience at Ashbrook Medical clinic and I highly encourage you to find another doctor. Dr. Jackson is probably the best diagnostician around. He has rarely been incorrect in his diagnosing or treatment approach. more
