I <3 Tracy! 1/19/2011

Artistic Hair Salon is truly one of a kind. It is a salon that you feel very comfortable in no matter who you are there to visit. The salon is warm and inviting providing great hospitality. I have been going to Tracy Dorame for six years now and love the work she produces. I never go into the salon really knowing what I want, but every time I walk out of the salon I have people stopping me to comment on my new style. Tracy is very creative in her work, always creating a new master piece. Give her a few ideas of what you are looking for and she will create a masterpiece. Tracy is confident in her work whether it may be in a cut, color, highlights, etc; in fact she is always taking classes in order to further her knowledge. I trust Tracy in all her ideas and never have walked out of the salon having a bad experience. So if you are looking for a great salon in the OC area check out Artistic Hair, you will not be disappointed! more

Best Brazilian Blowout 11/3/2010

Barbara the owner was the best! I had originally made an appointment just to get my hair cut and after the long processes of drying and straightening, Barbara suggested I try the Brazilian Blowout. I was slightly hesitant because it can be quite pricey but I decided to go with it anyway. I few days later I went in for the treatment. It took almost 3 hours to do my hair because I have long thick hair but the results were AMAZING. My whole life I wished it could just get out of the shower and not worry about the hour long process of blow drying and straightening. Now I can blow dry it and no need for flat ironing or I can just leave it wet and it dries silky smooth and straight. The great thing about the Brazilian Blowout is it's actually good for your hair unlike the permanent straightening processes. I love my hair now and I love this salon. Everyone there is so nice and no matter who does your hair you'll be thrilled! It's nice to be at a small intimate salon with all the talent if not more than those big flashy over price salons. You have to try it! more

Weeks before my wedding and I have a hair disaster. ""AJ"" to the rescue - Just had my first appt and wow we made such good progress. AJ is super nice and friendly. I feel like she really cares and wants to do the best she can for me and my hair. The rest of the staff are also very friendly and nice. If you desire a relaxing comfortable yet results oriented facial Julie at Artisitic Hair is the place to go. She is great at what she does and she uses only the ""best"" products. I noticed a difference in my skin right away! She is the best!!! more

My Husband and I have been going to Laura Grffin for several years!shes so amazing, We dont mind driving from Cerritos to Orange! The salon is so cozy and comfortable...Most of the time were clueless of what we want done wether its a color or cut! but Laura must know how to read minds because she always manages to exceed our expectactions! Shes a very hard working, didicated, amazing sweet person! wether its last minute or not she always gets us in asap! \r **Shes so good she got me published for a bridal shoot in 101 Magazines this year in July! \r Shes so patient and takes her time.. she wont do anything less than perfection! Her updo's are work of art! Laura is amazing and a true Hair Styist!... I abolutely love her! \r \r ERIC! he can do some wonders! his technique in make up is awesome! hes very aproachable and hilarious! he really does know how to make a person feel special and beautiful! He can do dramatic makeup and subtle makeup.. regardless of what kind of make up he does. he knows what hes doing and does it well! <3\r \r they both make a FABULOUS team for ANY event! Amanda is an expert with color and I always walk away feeling amazing. She is also really fun to talk to!\r \r Eric is the resident make-up artist and all-around great guy. Amanda will treat your hair right! 6/30/2010

I moved to Orange County about a year ago and attempted to find a new hair stylist to cut, color and highlight my hair. After 3 major failed attempts at other salons, I found Artistic Hair and was recommended to Amanda. She has been an absolute god send! During the consultation she listened to my concerns and what I was looking for in a style and color. I have seen her now for 5 months and each time she has done a wonderful job on both the color and the cut, meeting my requests each time. She pays strong attention to detail and really listens to the customer. She will not let me leave until I am completely satisfied with her work. She will make suggestions if desired. Best of all, she is very friendly and a lot of fun. I truly look forward to getting my hair done each month and chatting with her. The entire salon staff is very friendly and welcoming. It has an upbeat vibe and all the staff seem to have friendly conversations with their clients. I always enjoying chatting with Eric who usually has a crazy story to share. I highly recommend Artistic Hair and especially Amanda! Pros: attention to detail, listens to customer, friendly and fun more

Then Eric (who was quite inviting and friendly) offered to do my makeup while waiting for my boyfriend. I'm not one to wear much make up, but this guy can do it all. He showed me some pictures of his past work, and it's just phenomenal. So for him to do my make up was a privilege and I could tell he really enjoys himself as well as his working environment. I ended up telling him that I never have gotten my hair cut at a salon, and he made me feel so confident to get one done. So that's exactly what I did. It was such a great first experience. I will be definitely coming back here. Whether it be for a trim, by AJ, or my makeup done by Eric. Awesome personalities going on there, guys!
