This complex is being run by new management since January of this year. The new management took over a week after my partner and I moved in. My partner is disabled and while she does not need a caretaker of someone of that nature, she does need hot water, heat in the winter, AC in the summer, and reliable office staff. Since we've moved in, we have had nothing but problems. The management has left us without AC for a week and a half at the end of May when it was in the high 90's. Our shower was extremely leaky- it took them 2 months to come in and LOOK AT IT. We reported several other small things that needed to be fixed when we moved in, but they never were. Then, they turned off cable to the complex for several days. They have entered our apartment with NO NOTICE, when we were not home, and we had medication come up missing. We went without water for 48 hours, then a few months later, no hot water for 4 days. It is now November 15th, and 40 degrees in our apartment. The management refuses to turn on the heat for another 4 or 5 days. We called several times trying to explain that we were COLD, and my partner cannot even function because the cold causes her severe pain. I don't think it is an unreasonable request. Then, 2 days ago, we had a power surge or something in the kitchen. a whole wall of outlets, and the dishwasher (which is necessary to my partner who has hand disabilities) are nonfunctioning. We have left several messages on the "Emergency Maitenance" line. No response. In fact, the new management closed the office at our complex and we now have a shared office with the complex next door. They do not post office hours and are NEVER there on a regular basis. Paying rent is like placing a bet, since they also have no drop box. DO NOT RENT HERE. The reason we moved in in the first place was for the price on the 2 bedroom, but new management raised that rent from 625 to 735. NOT WORTH IT. Not to mention it is noisy, dirty, and they have done a HIDEOUS remodeling to the building. (Personal opinion...) RUN!!
