Beth Ann is the best 12/5/2005

I have now had 2 cuts and color from Beth Ann, and I can honestly say she is probably the best stylist I have ever had. She has given me really great haircuts that work with MY hair and MY face. For fairly short hair, it is amazing how well it has grown out as well. I even had a random stranger stop me to ask who cuts my hair - after it had been cut 6 weeks ago! I have to carry her cards with me at all times because I am constantly being asked who cuts my hair. What a compliment! Not only does she do a fabulous job, but she has a really great attitude and obviously loves what she is doing. Very refreshing! more

A HAIRCUT THAT REALLY WORKS 11/20/2005

I have been looking for years for a haircut that works with my naturally big hair. Beth Ann helped me pick one that I can really manage. Also, she did not push products on me, which was a nice break. She was easy to be with for two hours and even helped me get back to my natural hair color (after a bad dye job). I finally found a hair stylest that made my hair look good, without a ton of time. Staphanie rules! 11/14/2005

Stephanie started taking care of my brows when my other lovely esthetician decided to become a full time mom, and she was so highly recommended by Amanda. I am so addicted to her Beauty Queen treatment (brow wax and tint and eyelash tint). You will never know how long and pretty your lashes are until you have Stephanie tint them for you! And it looks way better than gunky mascara. She has a vintagey feel to her style, and if I even need makeup done I know she will make me look like a 1940's star. I can't wait to try one of her facials, too! more

I spent last week reading and re-reading the reviews for this salon. Schedualed an appointment with Bethann. She is a cute and personable girl who took the time to slow down and communicate with me needs I had'nt thought to address. My hair color looks beautiful, my cut is the best. Read the reviews, call Arabella and make an appointment to see Bethann, and look better than you've looked before! more

Best Massage In PDX!!! 10/8/2005

Katy the massage therapist at Arabella is an absolute dream! I was amazed at how perceptive she is! She took away my aches and pains and her sweet and calm demenor instantly put me at ease! As if the massage itself wasnt fantastic enough the massage room at arabella is beautiful and unique complete w/ a window that opens to the serene sounds of a bubbling water feature on the beautiful garden patio! Katy is the best LMT I have ever seen I plan on visiting her many more times and reccomending all my friends to her! Her rates are incredible, the service superb! more

After a recent move to Portland, Beth Ann and I met through CL, and I came in for a cut and full highlights. I'm a stay at home mama, but didn't want the typical mama hair style, and Beth Ann mussed me up a bit. I love my cut, the highlights are sassy and fan, and I can't wait to go back for another relaxing evening! Arabella is easy to find, easily accessible, and the salon itself is beautiful. A shot in the dark turned into a perfect score! 9/23/2005

Like you, I was scanning the website trying to find a salon that "felt" right - a difficult task with regard to the internet. I was so taken with user reviews for Arabella (particularly for stylist Beth Ann Pulliam) that I thought I'd give it a go. BOY WAS I IMPRESSED!!!!! What a lucky shot! Beth Ann is a wonderful, comfortable, friendly young lady who REALLY knows how to cut hair. My hair is short, and she turned it into a fun, youthful do that fits my personality AND my maintenance requirements. But best of all is her coloring skill. Ever since I moved to Portland I have been to one salon after another looking for my "hair home" and I found it in Beth Ann. Her choice of color/highlights was a perfect fit and I love my new pixie do. Thanks Beth Ann, I most certainly will be back! Pros: Atmosphere, Friendly, Skills/Talent Cons: none more

i highly recommend beth ann. i recently had a style change (cut) and color. she had ideas and worked with me to make decisions. did a fabulous job... it's not everyday you can trust someone to help you reinvent a 'look'. in the weeks following, i have had a record number of hair complements. even the guy at the mac store gave me exceptional service because, he said "you have such cute hair." My Best Haircut 8/23/2005

Beth Ann Pulliam has got to be the best stylist I've been to. She is very professional and does everything right. She knows how to help you choose a hairstyle that brings out your best features and fits your personality. She also talks to you and asks your opinion all along the way so that you don't end up with any nasty surprises when you are finished. Not to mention that her prices are incredibly reasonable. The salon is charming and the stylists fantastic. It's the best haircut I've ever had. Top marks to Beth Ann at the Arabella salon. Pros: Inexpensive, Professional, Friendly more

Bethanne is a super friendly, super creative girl who is out to have a great time with her clients as well as providing a first rate service as a hairstylist. She has a deep understanding of what looks best with a persons particular facial structure and coloring and keeps you informed of her actions every step of the way. when she told me her philosophy was "wash n wear" hair I didnt really believe I could acheive the same style at home and by myself, well... Bethanne was right! She showed me lots of tricks to perfect my styling abilities at home and has me walking with a little extra spring in my step I feel so good! Her prices are ridiculously reasonable and the salon itself is a treasure! Go see her, have fun and tell all your friends! Pros: prices, environment Cons: a little hard to find more

Great Salon 8/9/2005

I've been getting my hair cut by Beth Eyler for several years. She helped both my wife and I explore new hair styles that turned out very well. She is very flexible with our busy schedules and can usually squeeze us in on short notice if we forget to schedule in advance. She is fun to talk to and has great info about the latest movies, good books and other goings-on about town. Finally, Arabella is very comfortable and easy to get to. more

After reading the loads of great reviews I called Arabella and booked an appointment with Beth Ann. The salon is beautiful and worthy of all the hype. Beth Ann made getting my hair cut fun which is something so many other people I have been to have completely neglected. I am looking forward to calling soon to make an appointment for color. what an atmosphere!!! 8/3/2005

what a calm earthy atmosphere this place holds. I can't help but to be in aw each time I arrive. I came in for a massage from Katy and was amazed at the intuitive touch that she posesses. I have had many massages before and I found my therapist finally. Great pressure slow enough to minimize any unneeded pain. Go and see her and your cares will melt away. I had my first leg & bikini wax this weekend and I LOVE it!! I was terrified of the bikini wax but Stephanie was very comforting and professional. Best of all my husband loves it!!! Stephanie has also been doing my brows for about a year and I won't go to anyone else now. In addition to her skills, she is just a great person with a nice demeanor. She doesn't talk too much but seems to know when I feel like chatting...her studio is very lovely and comfortable.
