No stars. I've been here over 15 times but today will be my last. My fiancé ordered the lunch platter and requested no sesame seeds on his roll due to a severe allergy. The waiter...

Breath of Fresh Air in the Murray HIll Scene 8/23/2006

IT's nice to have a trendy restaurant with good food and beautiful decor breathe some life into the Murray Hill restaurant landscape. The food is really good. It's a small mix of asian fusion but, predominantly asian menu. The sushi is really good. The Coppalla wine was really good. The restaurant is REALLY beautiful. IT's done in a modern, lush sort of style with plush seating and low lighting. The sushi bar is open so you know it has to be clean and fresh. Overall, a jewel in my neighborhood! more

run-of-the-mill food, but nice ambience and great drinks 8/21/2006

This place is one of dozens of totally average asian/pan asian restaurants in the city. I've not eaten much here that I would rate more than average, and the prices are somewhat high, considering the elementary level of the food quality. I don't know how they are going to survive in this neighborhood, since they don't offer their lunch specials on weekends. Maybe they're not in it for the food. If you visit, you shouldn't be too concerned about eating the food, either. Go in the evening or at night, with some friends, and just enjoy some of their good drinks and soak in the vibe. Some of the appetizers aren't bad. more

Great Neighborhood Fun- 8/16/2006

I went last night to have dinner at AquaMarine and I was impressed. I think its great and about time we have a restaurant in the neighborhood that actually has some ambiance to it. There are so many ""midtown""-ish restaurants around here, this is exactly what we needed. It has a nice soothing vibe, the crowd seems fun and the food was great. I think overall the menu was a tad high for what you are getting, but hey- I think its worth it if the mood of a restaurant means anything to you at all. \r ps- the music they play is great! more

I like it here! 8/7/2006

This place gets so-so reviews everywhere, but I have had great food here and I really like the ambience, too. I love the roti and the different shrimp dishes. The sushi is also pretty good. \r I'll be comin' back! Pros: ambience, good food, in the neighborhood! Cons: a little pricey more

Exciting 6/3/2006

Finally...... it open again..... after long time close.... and now its open again. Even thought the food is not the same like before, but still it has the best scenery to go. The bar is good, the food is okay, and everything is okay especially.... its a place for us to hang out........ but too bad its not good for kid. more

Need to work out its problems 5/22/2006

Great ambience. Sitting in the bar infront of the flat screen tvs was awesome however the food was so so. I had a duck salad which was large and the sauce was good but nothing spectacular. I also ordered sushi and it was horrible. The rice was warm and didn't have a hint of vinegar. I would not recommend this place until they work out their kinks. Pros: Flat screens, Great Bar, Ambience Cons: Bad sushi, So so service more
