They called us at every step to let us know how he was doing. Dr is absolutely fantastic. So knowledgable and compassionate. AMC is immaculate and you're guaranteed wonderful service! They truly make a traumatic, stressful situation as best as it possibly could be. more

I can happily say that Angell Memorial 3/22/2012

I can happily say that Angell Memorial is different. As soon as I walked through the door everyone was friendly. The front desk staff is populated with animal lovers (something that seems obvious, but hadn't been my experience at other veterinarian offices), and everyone from maintenance staff to doctors is kind and wonderful. more

We are so happy our furry family is 3/5/2012

We are so happy our furry family is healthy and happy . This year was a long road, but worth it as everyone is doing well. Tangie is healed and back to his old self. (He has some muscle loss in his leg but moves fine; skin and fur is great.) more

Extraordinary Compassion and Sensitivity 2/22/2012

I wanted to commend Dr. Dilday and all the staff at Animal medical clinic for the MANY kindnesses they have shown to me and Gandalf, we've visited the office for a number of years. He was only 8 Years old when I started taking him to Animal Medical. Even when we are there for routine visits he never fails to get excited as I pull into their parking lot. I taught him the word ""veterinarian"" and he will always wag his tail when he hears it - probably in anticipation of cookies and lots of care and attention while visiting. I continue taking Gandalf even though I've moved across town because I appreciate their extraordinary sensitivity and compassion when it comes to my pet. Gandalf's cat friend Toma will be in to see them soon. more

My Dog Won't Let Me Go Anywhere Else! 11/29/2011

I am so relieved to have found Dr. Tesar and his staff. I've been through 2 other vet clinics and 4 separate vets in just the past 12 months. AMC Portland's honesty and integrity is so appreciated. Even Stella knew who she was dealing with. She almost kissed him (on the first date no less!). It took her 9 years to kiss our old Florida vet. It's been less than 24 hours since our visit, and I've already given their number to 2 people! more
