Our relationship with Hollis Court Animal Clinic began when our surgeon Tomas Infernuso referred them to us, and started performing many of our specialty surgery cases at their clinic. We are a large NYC dog rescue group, and we take on many cases of sick and severely injured animals. Dr. Infernuso is simply the best surgeon, his skills and dedication to the animals is unmatched by any other surgeon we have ever used in the past. Dr. Infernuso has saved so many of our injured animals, everything from challenging fractures, to spinal injuries, intestinal blockages, broken jaws, ACL, and FHO surgeries. He uses the most modern surgical techniques, and is always taking it to the next level of care for the animal. He is a doctor who deeply cares about his patients, and it is very clear from the first meeting with him. He will take the time to explain step by step the procedure, and the aftercare that your pet will need after surgery. Our animals have received great care by both Dr. Nestor and Dr. Zarran, while at Hollis Court. They are extremely thorough in diagnosing and caring for all of our animals. They use the latest technology and diagnostics to treat our animals, and we are very pleased with the degree of professionalism that our cases are given. I recently had 4 stray kittens born in my backyard. Me, being a dog person had no idea what to do and called my vet at the bayside animal clinic for help. I told them that I was going to raise the kittens myself and give them away to good loving families. I was not making a profit off these kittens I just wanted to save them since we found out the mother had died and they went days without food. Since my husband is disabled and we are on a very fixed income and could not afford the vet visit for 4 kittens and they were desperately in need of help. My vet in bayside refused to help me in anyway and this is after I spent 5,000 in the past year on my puggle puppy. more

If you are consIdering using this vet run the other way! We had a horrible experience. The staff is very cold and the veterinarians are just as bad. Its highway robbery for a job not well done. more

My first visit here was when i purchased a puppy from Empire puppies , the dog was sick and Dr Zahran was tring to defend the puppy mill store after a friend of mine spoke to him in arabic he changed his tunes. The store refunded me the $$ for the male little pup After Dr zahran sent me to Tropical pets a friend with a pet store 5 days later I purchased a female maltese . Dr Zahran seen the puppy and examed her before i took her home to be part of my family ..her name is baby , she is 22 months now and she has medical issues that she was born with her medical bills have cost me 7 thousand already and theres no guarrentees for her , she became part of our life we grew an attachment with her my children (4) are all upset . They are crooks they have involvement with puppy mills the worst .... they should be shut down and never be able to practice vet services again also take down all who they are connected with. more

First off, my cat did get better for now anyway he is getting some symptoms back. He had to stay overnight, meanwhile nobody checks on your pet, I was told this but realize if they stay overnight on Sunday....the office closes at 2 pm on Sun leaving your pet alone for a very long time! My pet came back reeking of urine, he was completely dry so it didn't just happen! I paid over 1,000 and for what? I didn't get critical care!!! My cat felt better which I was grateful for but I had to give him a bath. The vet reimbursed me $250 for this but all and all I paid $850 and I have no idea what the diagnosis is! Pros: Good vet, but you will pay for it Cons: expensive, overnight stays are bad more

i thought this place was great .i took my dog there and he help alot but he ran all these tests on my dog just to tell me o should change her food. then the second time i took her for some pills because she had runny stool and all i needed was pills that were15.00. instead he wanted to change her food again gave me 3different pills and did more test . instead of 15.00 i had to pay 225.00. just to find out the women next to me had the same problen. i suggest if you have a problem go eles where . more

I've been a client of the doctor since he first opened up and have never had a problem. I'd recommend him to all. Pros: Friendly, Courteous, Understanding, Honest Cons: Parking Sucks more

I didnt think that Dr Zahran was so great, I couldnt understand him all, and the vet tech had to translate everything he said. My dog had Whip worms, and we left with a $850 vet bill. more

I love this vet and staff. My Molly a little maltese was so very sick and had to be put down . Dr. Zahran came to my house to try and save her , When I took her in he wanted to keep her for free to try and save her. The staff was so good to me and work hard for Molly . Thank God Molly had people that care around her for the end. I don't know what that person means the place was not clean it is clean and the staff works hard. All I got to say don't let the other people scare you Dr. Zahran is great. more

I don't know why people feel so negative towards the staff and the doctor? Pros: Vet, Staff, Prices, Comfort, Kind Cons: No parking space more

I do rescue and am exceedingly hard core about who I let near any animal that passes through my hands, whether its a rescue animal or my own. I see bunnylil rerview but she doesnt state her animals problem to begin with or what its condition was when she got there. Pros: thoughtfulness more

I have been taking my dog to a vet for years with the same problem. I decided to go local and give this vet a try. He gave some meds along with a prescription dog food. Now my dog it out of pain and misery. The other vet was treating my dog for the wrong problem. With a few questions and a thorough examination Dr. Zahran found the real issue. They murdered my Takuka, DOOOO NOOOT VISIT THIS MAN. Obviosly doesnt know what hes doing he made my baby worse. She passed away because of him. People save your money and even more SAVE YOUR PETS. I knew i shouldve done research on him. I came in on a weekday granted it was slow and only had one technician helping but why and how did my baby have a sesiure. And you guys wanted to know what he made his technician better ye assistant they are not certified technicians, he told her to tell me that theyll give me a discount to cremate her. i recommend you going here because the people there are so nice. i get my westie taken care of there. the prices are cheap. since i live in a close but another state, we get free examinations and other free and cheaper things. bring your pet there! they try to comfort lexy [my westie] as best as they can when getting her shots. everyone is soooo nice!!!!!!!!! I called Dr. Zahran at 6:00 am Monday morning, he answered the phone. He arranged to meet with Chelsea (our l.h. mini doxie), at 10:00 am, after I had told him her situation. Chelsea was seen by another local Veterinarian 4 days prior, and there was no improvement whatsoever. Well Dr. Zahran Xrayed her, showed us the horrifying rocks in her bladder that would have caused her death, and we scheduled surgery right away. It is 2 days after her surgery, and she is so fantastic in every way-she is happy, HEALTHY, eating, drinking, peeing... I would also like to say that the Staff is fantastic as well, they really understand what you are going through because THEY CARE!!!!! Please consider this post first and foremost in your decision on Veterinary Care if you are in the Flushing/Fresh Meadows area. Pros: Wonderful staff, appointments spaced well, location ++++ more

Im not trying to give bad feedback. but i myself changed vet clinics. DR. ZAHRAN. Is not a good veterinarian, he doesnt talk at all especially english at that. When you ask for something you think may be wrong he totally ignores you and when he figures it out its what you juss mentioned. i left because of the doctors attitude. yes the staff is great but the docor is what i deal with for my kity. so definitely not recommended. horrible vet. And one last thing he does not tell you the price of things he does the treatment and tells you tht the staff will tell you how much. He does only care about h money. last time i went was in feb. and i asked him if he had any pets he said no he hates animals i though he was just kidding but i believe him. He is just money hungry. I'm not sure why there's a negative vibe towards Dr. Zahran and his office. From the first day I stepped in there with my pup we've been treated with respect from him and his staff. I've been to other vets that give you the runaround and issue unnecessary tests to drive up the cost of visits, but I've never experienced that at his office. Dr. Zahran and his staff have taken in dogs and cats that were no longer wanted by their owners because rather than fighting for their lives their owners wanted them to be put down. Instead, that dog that was going to be put down has a second chance for a long and healthy life, all because they did not want to give up. I have never heard of any doctor's or vet's office extending themselves like that, and their staff did. Its soo true the doctor smells like smoke all the time. and he has an attitude with me and with my friends that use his service. its true his prices are reasonable but thats because he knows that he is lacking the true service. and his staff needs an attitude adjustment also. i give this clinic two thumbs wayyyy down. more

THEY ARE NOT REALLY ANIMAL LOVERS. THE DOCTOR HIMSELF SMEELS LIKE SMOKE WHEN HE COMES IN TO CHECK MY PITBULL. THE OVERALL SERVICE IS BAD AND HE IS PRETTY EXPENSIVE.
