On my first visit to Springfield, in the middle of Feb, it was about 17 degrees and snowing. But, my boyfriend insisted that we go to Andy's so I could get some custard. And I am glad I did! It's so good - the custard is so much smoother and creamier than ice cream or frozen yogurt. I'm hooked on it. The concretes are the best, but the plain custard isn't bad either - Check it out! more

The Best Custard anywhere! 3/24/2006

If I could I would drive down to Springfield, MO and get me some of Andy's frozen custard right now. It is by far the best any where. Not like that nasty, yellow junk that you get at the fair. This is truly a delight for the taste buds. They only come in the two standard flavors, chocolate and vanilla, but you can put just about anything you like on it. My favorite is the pretzel, caramel crunch and add blueberries. Just thinking about it makes me want to go now. So should you. more

Yummy!!! 9/26/2005

Today was my first time here and it was delicious. They were very busy but also very fast. There is a drivethru or you can order at the window which is what I did. It didn't take more the five minutes for me to place my order and get it. The frozen custard is delicious and much creamier than regular ice cream. more

I'm addicted!!! 9/14/2005

Andy's is the place to go when you want something cold and sweet. My favorite is the strawberry and banana concrete. Another good one is the peach concrete although honestly I don't think I've ever tried anything there that I have not liked. The only thing that I would like to see at Andy's would be picnic tables to sit at and enjoy your custard instead of sitting on the sidewalk or in your car. more

Great place for a sweet tooth! 9/11/2005

Andy's offers just about any kind of ice cream type concoction you could want. Their concretes are excellent and come in tons of different flavors. It is a pretty busy place during the summer with lots of people outside eating their frozen custard. If you love ice cream, you will love Andy's! more

They have the best shakes! This place is the oldest mom and pop stand that stuck. They make really good shakes and concretes in just about every flavor imaginable. The prices run from 2-5 bucks. Their parking lot has become the hang out spot in the summer for the teens and during the week (in the summer) you see a lot of family’s hanging out with the kids up there. Definitely worth the money for some good ice cream ? more
