I took my pet here when he started having problems urinating. Before even allowing my dog to become acquainted, the vet tech grabbed him, slapped a muzzle on him and proceeded to 'examine' my dog. I knew the problem with the urine was most likely stones, but the vet started berating me in the fact that my dog was fat and if he had to have surgery he would have to lose weight, first of all my dog is far from fat. he is a 12 lb Miniature Schnauzer mix, you can see clearly see a waistline as well as easily feel his ribs. Not only did this vet berate me on the weight of my dog he also started grilling me about shots and heartworm medication and where I obtain my heartworm medication. I felt like I was a prisoner and was being grilled for information. I finally asked if we could address the problem at hand, my dog is having problems urinating. He decided he would x-ray him, and would have to sedate him since my dog bites... how does he know my dog bites? They slapped a muzzle on him before giving him a chance, Being new to the area I left my dog there for x-rays. He had stones. But after picking my dog up I immediately decided to find another vet to assess the situation. I also feel I was horribly over charged. The visit, including x-rays and medications was almost $400.00. I noticed on the receipt one of the things done was a Prostate exam. I NEVER asked for a prostate exam, I wasn't even in there for that. This vet is not only rude and condescending, he is a rip off.
Cons: ALL thumbs down!
