Editorial review from Citysearch 2/11/2013

I really loved this practice when we first started going but let's just say...some of the new hires are not so good. It is bad enough that some of the receptionists are a bit too loud when talking about their personal business...I don't care to hear about your hot date tonight. But the past few times I visited with certain newer hires there, they have been spouting off very outdated information that has been PROVEN wrong. Maybe parkside needs to force them to go to some more current classes? Who knows. Dr jones, moll, np Carrie, ECT are good. But be wary when going to anyone hired after 2009!!! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 11/5/2012

This practice has everything a young family could want. Great pediatricians, fantastic facility, convenient hours, and the ultimate staff. We've experienced a lot of other practices and nothing compares. Our family and all our friends have been very happy with Parkside Pediatrics. more

Ok but they have some areas that need 10/28/2012

Most of the doctors here are excellent, except maybe one or two. I have never had an issue with the medical side of this place and my children love it. I do, however, have an issue with the receptionists that work here...they absolutely bring this place down. Everytime I come in they seem to be way too wrapped up in their own conversations and gossip. One of the receptionists, especially, is extremely loud and while sitting there waiting for my son's appointment, I learned all about her friend and how she got dumped the night before. Very unprofessional and I wish they would reprimand her for it...it isn't like they can't hear her...she is LOUD. more

Best medical care, Best Staff and Best practice 3/5/2012

I have been at Parkside since 2006 and they continue to make me so happy I made the decision to switch pediatricians. I had heard good things but didn’t understand until we experienced it. The staff actually speaks to you and your kids. The people there care about what you have going on and the doctors are so advanced in their medical treatment. My son was very sick and the other practice (a large on in greenville) passed us around and each doctor told us something different. That is when we had to change. We found Parkside and from that point on, we knew we were in more than capable hands. We felt like we finally had someone who was on our team and really looking out for our son. Before we always had to remember every medication and reaction and I even tried to figure out what was going on with him. At Parkside, we felt like we were no longer alone in his care. Because of all of that, we were able to get him the treatment he needed as an infant and toddler and now he is healthy, strong and you would never know anything was ever wrong. Because of the people at Parkside working so hard for my son and family, I was able to simply be his mom. I am more that grateful for Parkside for all they have done and continue to do for our family. more

Nice facility 2/10/2012

the facility is nice and front desk staff are friendly and I enjoyed the way the the rooms and waiting area were set up here. We had a bad experience here which was unfortunate but the staff were willing to meet and discuss the problems we had. Parkside was not for us and we have switched practices but I think the staff are good and will recognize any problems you may have and will work with you if you let them know of any problems you experience. more

Parkside ROCKS! 5/10/2010

I don't think i have ever been to a doctor and been in and out in under an hour but we are almost ever time we go to Parkside. And we still get time to actually talk to the doctor and not feel rushed. My son loves it because they get to watch TV the whole time and I love it because I don't have to wrestle him while asking the doctor questions! I don't know if you have ever had to do that or if it is just my kid. He actually likes going there. I mean, what's not to like, the girls up front call my son by name when we get there, he gets to watch cartoons and gets a lollipop and sticker when we leave. I don't think he even knows he is at the doctor! Sure makes my day better! Pros: Short wait times and Fun for kids more

Very Sweet Staff, Yet a little too late... 3/11/2010

I wanted to set up an appointment to tour and meet a pediatrician very shortly. I will be having my child very soon and wanted some information. I waited all day and never received any information until I sent another request asking them to disregard my e-mails. I am very big on efficiency, it could have been a complete accident, yet I can't wait on response when my child could be ill... They seem fantastic though! Cons: Took over 24 hours to respond more

Best Pediatricians in the Upstate 2/10/2010

Parkside Pediatrics is a wonderful place to bring your children. The front office staff is amazing-they remember your name and your child's name! This may seem like a minor detail, but I love that I get a ""real"" person when I call-not a recording! The physicans are exceptional and so is the nursing staff. You can tell everyone really enjoys their jobs....everyone at that office is smiling! Also-if you are a mom with a child that has ""special/unique needs"" this is the practice for you. As a mother, if my child needed to see a specialist (and we have seen just about all of them in Greenville) or a therapist....Parkside handled every detail with speed and compassion. Thankyou Parkside for providing excellent care to kids in the Upstate! \r Pros: Caring Staff, Old-fashioned bedside manner more

not so great.j ust a regular business.... 11/20/2009

My list goes on about cons... too many to list. We transferred to a new group after a year at Parkside. We just couldn't take any more of their politics. Pros: movies in waiting room Cons: front desk help, the girl in collections or billing, too big more

AWESOME 7/4/2009

I feel like I harrass the staff of Parkside! I call very frequently- whether my children are sick and I need to make an appointment, or speak with a nurse, speak with someone in billing regarding bills, you name it I've called about it. The ladies who answer the phones are MORE THAN HELPFUL and they kindly answer questions for me and they are so truly sweet. The first time I called Parkside I was trying to find my way there- the poor lady stayed on the phone with me for 10 minutes until I finally pulled in the parking lot. I know that directions are not necessarily regarding a practice, but this was one of my first encounters with them and I KNOW they are more BUSY than staying on the phone with my DIRECTIONALLY INCOMPETANT SELF for 10 minutes :) I was so very impressed with how they cared; and they didn't even know me! Then there was another time that my 2 year old son fell outside and bust his lip open around 4:20pm on a FRIDAY! (their last appointments are at 4pm every day) I called and I was of course in tears because of the situation, but the lady very sweetly said, ""I know you are very upset, would you mind at all holding while I go inform the doctor of this?"" She put me on hold for less than a minute and returned saying, ""I just spoke with the doctor who will be on call tonight, and he would like for you to go ahead and come on in."" I arrived at 5pm (closing time) and everyone was so friendly even though I was a LATE FRIDAY VISIT. MY son needed stitches and the doctor put them in right then and there. I AM SO PLEASED WITH PARKSIDE AND I WOULD CRY LIKE A BABY IF MY FAMILY MOVED. \r I am done with my Parkside Praise ""book"". Thank you so much for ALL you do: Dr. Dobson, Dr. Moll, Dr. Jones, Dr. Anderson, and Mrs. Beth! (and thank you to ALL of your staff as well! Pros: front office, nurses, billing, doctors, movies, cleanliness Cons: ZERO!!! more

GREAT DOCTORS but getting TOO BIG!!! 3/13/2009

Drs. Moll, Dobson and Jones are all fantastic doctors! (We have not met the new doctor yet.) Our child has seen all three of the doctors and we have always been impressed with the treatment .... until recently.\r I was not impressed the last two times we visited ... the office has grown SO much in the past year. We ALWAYS have to wait in both the waiting room and the exam room. Our last visit included a wait of 52 minutes and it's almost impossible to keep our child happy (and half dressed in a cold room) for that length of time. I completely understand and respect the fact that emergencies occur and cause delays but the wait gets longer with each visit. \r Also, one of the doctors (whom I REALLY DO like) often yawns through our visit. I understand our child may not be as interesting to him as he is to us BUT I surely do expect a doctor to refrain from yawning/looking bored when I'm asking questions. \r Again, I DO love these doctors but I think they are hurting themselves by allowing themselves to expand so quickly. \r \r Pros: Great doctors!! Cons: Wait time is TERRIBLE!/Getting WAY too big more

Best medical experience in the upstate! 1/7/2009

I have had to take my kids to multiple pediatricians due to moving and this was by far the best experience I have had! I was glad to see the waiting room for healthy kids separated from the sick children side. The office staff was friendly, helpful and able to get us in quickly. The nurses did an outstanding job and the doctors took the time to read my children's file before he entered the room. They took time to ask questions and allowed us to ask them any questions. The electronic prescription filing and medical records is state of the art! I am glad that the practice seems to be growing, it makes me believe that others feel like they are doing a great job with their children as well! Pros: Separate waiting rooms and helpful friendly staff more

Still the Best Pediatrics Office in the Upstate! 12/27/2008

Yes, Parkside has grown a lot in the last two years BUT it?s because they are the best practice in the Upstate and, even today, no other pediatric office compares?just try the others, you?ll see. To that point, they?ve recently added two fantastic female doctors who practice with the same philosophy and care. I understand, of course, wait times are important, but from my experience, there wait times are still less than any other practice in town. And while the docs may not have as much time to sit around and shoot the breeze like they did when they first opened, I am still very confident when I leave that my kids havereceived the best care possible. Regarding hospital care, these pediatricians do see ALL newborns (sick and well) in the hospital. If they deem your child to be sick enough to need admission to the hospital, they prefer a Pediatric Hospitals care for them (makes sense since the pediatric hospitalists are doctors who specialize in hospital medicine and are there in the hospital with your child 24/7). The other doctors who claim to care for your child in the hospital, actually are working in their office all day and only see you briefly in the morning while the hospital nurses provide the care. Parkside Pediatrics? goal is to offer the best care to your child available in the office and in the hospital. I will step off my soapbox now, I just wanted to reinforce to those who may not have experienced Parkside Pediatrics, that they truly are a one-of-a-kind pediatric practice and the pediatricians there are truly the best in the area. Check it out for yourself. more

Getting a bit too big, much room for improvement 10/26/2008

I used to be so happy, but they are getting too big for themselves. Long hold times on the phone, the office nurses are not too helpful when they finally call back, and the doctors seem overwhelmed and distracted. It is a good group of men, but they need to get a little organized. I heard they are no longer even seeing their own patients in the hospital anymore. That means that if your child is sick and in the hospital, your doctor will be someone you have never met. Yikes! There are still a few good groups in Greenville that do all their hospital care. Do your research before you settle. Pros: Educated Doctors Cons: No hospital care, overworked office staff more

Exceptional in every area of the practice!!! 9/7/2008

Since the day our daughter was born in 2006 we have been beyond pleased with Parkside Pediatrics. I could give countless examples of their exceptional care and concern for our whole family. They have taken such good care of our daughter. They are all very good with her from the staff to the doctors. I think it is important for a parent to be taken care of as much as the child. When our daughtger was facing a possible health crisis it was very difficult for us emotionally. Our minds raced in a million directions. Dr. Moll was very comforting and reassuring. We even received a call directly from Dr Moll when there were concerns about our daughter's blookwork. All the doctors have been like that no matter how simple or serious the illness. Even thought Dr. Moll is our daughter's primary doctor we are just as comfortable seeing Dr. Dobson or Dr. Jones. They are equally talented and caring. I think this practice is exceptional in every area. The facilities are very kid friendly and very clean. The wait is usually very short. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming. The nurses are compassionate and fun. The doctors are brilliant, and they are very down to earth. They are so good with children that you will be love them for the way they will love on your child or children. Parkside has exceeded our expections and hopes for a pediatrician. We are truly blessed to have them care for our daughter. Pros: Wonderful Practice. The care goes beyond just your child's health. Cons: Don't know of any cons. more

The best there is. Better get in why you can. 2/19/2008

I ran across this tonight as I am nursing a baby and one-handed, so I can't say too much. But the fact is, I could never say enough. There is nothing else like it around, and your children will be in hands as safe as your own. I know and adore each doctor in the practice, and that is hard to find, especially in Greenville. When you need a last-minute appointment, there is no worrying about who you might get because you will love and trust them all. The best doctors around got together and formed a group that is both dynamic and compassionate Their nurses are what truly make them great, and the entire office staff will win you over. If you are looking for a pediatrician, your search is over! Pros: Everything....short wait, friendly staff, personal relationships, family-focused Cons: I don't live in Simpsonville!!! more

Kept us Out of the hospital 2/12/2008

We have nothing but accolades for this wonderful practice. What astounded us was the attentive care our son received when he became severely ill with RSV at 7 weeks of age. They kept him out of the hospital by providing the breathing treatments we needed right there in the office. Any other office would have sent us to the hospital, but their priority was keeping our small son from further exposure. It was a frightening time, but Dr. Moll and Dr. Dobson were there to compassionately lead us through, and patiently addressed any concerns we had as new parents of a sick newborn. Pros: Waiting room and exam rooms are warm and friendly. Medical equipment hidden. more

Bigger maybe, STILL the BEST! 2/12/2008

I am not sure if everyone understands how wonderful Parkside's policies really are. As a mother who may find her child in the hospital, I find it reassuring and PREFERABLE that Parkdside also uses hopitalists: specialty pediatric hospital doctors. My beloved Parkside docs DO hospital visits daily, but it is impossible for them to be with my child 24/7 in the hospital. With a hopitalist involved, that doctor consults and updates my Parkside doctor when he is at his practice caring for patients and unable to be at the hospital. This way, my child ALWAYS has a doctor I trust there with him at all times, and I can KNOW that his care will be congruent with the care I receive at Parkside since they will be teaming together and on the same page! \r As far as the staff, I don't know what could be construed as negative. Wait times are shortest of any practice I have ever been, and I have been impressed as the front office staff continues to get more intentional with each visit. Things run effeciently, and the nurses are wonderful and I am delighted with their care. Pros: Convenience, waiting area; Great flat screens. Cons: Not a one more
