Went for the fixed priced dinner. Got the cod and potato cakes which were very tasty. For main course got a pasta, which was good as well. I wish I had saved more room for dessert...

Good happy hour 9/20/2005

I have yet to do the whole dining experience at Amuse. However, I was very impressed with their Happy Hour. For a fairly fancy place in this neighborhood, the happy hour is really good. Good draft beer prices, but best of all is the $1 oysters. I am aware of a few other places that do the oyster thing, but I am usually somewhat skeptical. That is why this is so great, because the oysters were super fresh. more

Good Creative Food 9/2/2005

Went for the fixed priced dinner. Got the cod and potato cakes which were very tasty. For main course got a pasta, which was good as well. I wish I had saved more room for dessert because it was delicious. I think their food falls under the creative American category, so the presentation is good and the flavors are tasty. The atmosphere is nice... a little bit dark with candles. It's a good place to go with a couple of friends. more
