Really bad experience. 7/27/2008

I took my car in to be serviced and have the transmission fluid changed. When I got the car back, the transmission was slipping badly when changing gears (which it wasn?t doing before their changing the fluid). When I told them about it, they rudely acted like it was my fault for asking them to do the job. No recourse or refund was offered and I eventually had to sell the car for almost nothing. Avoid American Tire in Brentwood. more

Avoid this establishment 5/22/2008

Good luck getting out of this place for under $100. Think you just need a simple oil change? Wrong. These guys will up sell the hell out of you. Every time I've gone here I've ""needed"" my tires rotated and balanced. I've ""needed"" my transmission flushed. I've finally had it. I was a loyal customer, but will now never do business with them again. I just feel like these guys cannot be trusted. They do not have my best interests in mind and are just looking to make as much money from you as possible. more
