Over the past four years, American Heritage Animal Hospital has taken care of our four cats and our dog. We've used their boarding service and health care services.
My experience with American Heritage has been great. My opinion is that the staff are a group of caring, hard-working professionals who are passionate about giving animals the best care possible.
We adopted one of our cats, Tommy, from American Heritage. Prior to adopting him, American Heritage took Tommy in because the prior owners could no longer care for him. He had a severe urinary tract infection, which lead to his tail becoming infected. American Heritage performed surgery on Tommy, healed his infection and boarded him for a very long time at their cost, prior to us adopting him.
They also made sure I understood what kind of diet Tommy needed to prevent future infections. I've given Tommy the right diet and he has not had another infection. I'm a big believer in preventative health care, not only because it's in the best interest of my pets; but because it ultimately saves time and money by avoiding unnecessary trips to the vet.
After adopting Tommy I learned that American Heritage routinely takes care of numerous cats that have been abandoned, incurring costs in labor, food, and supplies, which cannot be recovered.
Given my experience with the exceptional care that American Heritage Animal Hospital has given my pets over the past four years, and that they constantly do charity work out of love for animals, I highly recommend American Heritage Animal Hospital.
