Crooked Dealer – DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!\r
\r
I purchased a 2005 VW beetle for my daughter “in good faith”. Within the first 200 miles of driving, both the Check Engine light (recurring theme, PLEASE READ OTHER REVIEWS) and the Check Airbag light came on! The check engine light turned out to be the catalytic converter and sensors, a $1400 repair. I wrote to the AAW stating that the car will fail Mass inspection and Bruce’s (the worker bee at the dealer) reply was “good luck with that”. I have filed a formal CT RMV complaint against them and am working with the state attorney general’s office to try and get repairs paid for. However, the dealer will not return calls to the state attorney’s office which I find simply amazing. For all out there that this has happened to, there is a new law in CT that says the dealer needs to give you a copy of a new safety check form to have artifacts of completion of the safety check. I did not get this document. Worst experience I have ever had buying something. These guys are just crooks!!!
