Dr. Hart was great...it was his office staff that was a total mess. The ladies at the front counter were nice, but no one knew anything but the office manager and she was never there, unprofessional, and...didn't know what was going on anyhow. I was in the process of moving my dogs to Australia and I used Altamonte Animal Clinic to conduct a rabies Titer test (required by the Australia Government). We had the dogs in Dr. Hart's office on Jan 21st for this to be done. After a week I had called to get the results and I was told the results were not back yet and it could take 2 weeks. I called again at 2 weeks and again at 3 weeks. During these calls I would ask for the office manager to return my phone calls, but with no success. Finally I got the call the results were back. I pick up the paper work and had problems with information missing and/or incorrect. It took a couple visits that day to clear things up and then I sent the paperwork to the USDA for processing. Once I got the papers back from the USDA I found that information from Dr. Hart's office was still wrong. With some investigation I found that the test draw on Jan 21st was not sent out to a lab to be tested until Jan 30th. Worse yet, the paper work sent to the lab said the test was done on the 25th. That means it took them NINE days to send out the test. It also means they lied on the paperwork that they filed out to send with the test samples. It also means they lied to me about why it was taking so long to get the results back. This may not seem all that bad; however, these mistakes from Dr. Hart's office staff cost me over $80.00 and caused my dogs to have to stay in quarantine longer then necessary. I will NEVER use Dr. Hart again. Dr. Larkin at Altamonte Veterinarian Hospital is just as good (or better) with the animals and you can trust his office staff to be courteous, professional, knowledgeable and best of all I have never been lied to at his office.
Pros: Dr. Hart is a great vet.
Cons: His office manager and staff is the worst!
