Altamont Summit

I lived at Altamont Summit for years and was initially attracted by the beauty of the property, the scenic views and the forced air. Over the years, I watched as the clientele changed, now attracting young adults who partake in illegal drugs, instead of responsible tenants who take responsibility for their actions. While the apartments are large and spacious, you will hear your neighbors every move and conversation - - simple chats on the phone to late night escapades. If you choose to live here, just know that you will intimately get to know your neighbors! more

I have lived in this apartment for some time. Let me firsts say that I love the location and I've been 60% happy with my experience living in this apartment complex. Only on the surface, could it be considered ""luxury"" though. Once you have have lived here long enough to notice and experience the poor construction, paper thin walls and completly condescending office staff, you will be greatly dissapointed. Also, if you'd like to place a complaint with the management company that owns this property, the office staff will not want to give it to you. You have to push and the guy I spoke with was lacking major customer service skills. Its all about numbers and how they look to their bosses (local management and regional--located in California). I really wish that they would realize what they're saying and how they come off!!! This is someones home, although it be most often temporary, it's still someones home! If you claim ""luxury"" all over the place, then follow through! more

Seriously, the ""management company"" may come across as really sweet and understanding and helpful, it's a lie. They want your money. That is all. We were perfect tenants, never late on rent, when we moved out we cleaned it up and down. They will FIND A REASON to take your money. It will most likely be a reason that doesn't make any sense. We had several maintenance concerns during our lease that maintenance never showed up for. We had to settle everything as if we were homeowners. The management company is awful but don't worry because you won't ever have to talk to them, they all live in California. Pros: It ""looks nice"". Cons: Horrible management. P.S. The hot tub is always broken down as well. more
