I am a cat person, currently have three, and have assumed for the past 20 years that the obvious place to take cats for care is a cats-only facility. The place I have been going to is lovely, they serve coffee, the attached store is fun and the vets/staff are very nice, but I have to admit that the care itself has been very mixed. I finally decided to try another clinic and, on the recommendation of a friend, took my three cats to Dr. Van Vanosdoll at the Alpine Animal Hospital in Issaquah.
Long drive for me, but well worth the trip. In a word, Dr. Van is terrific. He is extraordinarily thorough, caring and took the time to review options and make suggestions for the variety of issues that each one of my cats has.
