Best

Alons is great. I'd get The blueberry muffin for breakfast the creme brûlée for desert and the tomato basil soup for lunch.

Worst

The cakes including the Midnight Cake was nothing special. And the BBQ Salmon sandwich was terrible. I was really disappointed with Alon's.

This place definitely has the best dessert. I went here with a group of my friends. We all got something different and split it. Everything was superb! The appearance of the desserts was even better! more

Cookies! 7/19/2002

I live in Gwinnett, but have to drive down to Alon's now and then to get cookies. I crave the double chocolate chip! They are pricey, but worth every penny. The croissants are good, too. more

Not Just Dessert 5/19/2002

Alons sweets are close to religion in Atlanta. But the sandwiches are worth a trip, too. Try the Tuscany or the Asian Barbecued Salmon--and wash it down with a double chocolate chunk cookie. more

Dieters, beware 5/13/2002

The cookies and pastries really are just about the best in town. Every time I come in, even if it's just for sandwiches (which are delicious, by the way) or a loaf of bread, I never walk out without something sweet, which I proceed to eat right on the spot. The double chocolate chunk cookies are utterly sinful. more
