Allure By Stephanie

Stephanie has been doing hair for years. She has grown so much and her styles/cuts are art. I strongly recommend Allure by Stephanie to anyone who is not satisfied with their current stylist, looking for a new hair stylist, or looking for a stylist that treats them as family. She is very honest and knows what looks will look great on you! I tend to be a nervous wreck when it comes to getting my haircut and Stephanie never fails to allow me to walk out of the salon not happy or without a smile. I recently moved and refuse to find a new hair stylist. Stephanie does such an amazing job and I promise that you will leave feeling like a brand new person! I have been going to Stephanie for over 8 years (maybe longer). I am very particular about my hair and I been nothing but pleased with Stephanie’s work every time I've seen her for a cut and / or a color. She is an excellent with haircuts, hair styles, and especially with color. She listens to what her clients want and executes their wishes into reality. She is honestly the best of the best!!!! Shes great, listens to what you want, will make suggestions and makes sure you don't make a mistake with your hair. She will do what you want, but she has no problem giving her opinion before proceeding. I have dirty blonde hair and i wanted a full color but she warned me of brassiness and says highlights will give me that and less root touchup. i was like oh ok! Shes great and worth the time! I just want to recommend Stephanie, she did a great, great job cutting my hair, I took different pictures of the haircut I was looking for kind of shaggy, edgy haircut, and she did it exactly, then she put red highlights mixing different colors and they just came perfect for my hair color, I loved it, everybody in my job asked me who did it, and I already gave them her phone number. She took the time to listen to me, she is very nice but the most important thing, she knows what she is doing, thank you Stephanie!!!!! I'll see you in 2-3 months. I've been going to Stephaine for over a year now and finally I remembered to get on citysearch and write a review. I wanted to let anyone who might be looking for a stylist know that Stephaine is wonderful. I decided to grow my hair out and she cut and styled it each time so that I never even noticed going through the growing out stage. I am very happy with the cut and color Stephanie did for me. I was ready for a new look but was not sure exactly what I wanted. I have been living in Houston for 5 years and I can't believe it has taken this long to find someone who can cut hair. I had a terrible cut and was at a loss as to where to go now. I looked on Citysearch and here was Stephanie with all these great reviews. I figured it couldn't get worse so I set an appointment to give her a try. She saw right away some of the major errors done with my last cut, listened to where I wanted it to be and set about fixing my hair. Stephanie is great. I took my elderly mother with me and she got a perm. My mom is sweet but picky and usually finds the cloud in the silver lining and even SHE was pleased. I usually color my own hair but next time I'm giving that up to Stephanie as well. \r Usually, before I get to the car I am thinking of jumping in the shower when I get home and see what I can do to help the haircut I just paid good money for. I am extremely picky about my hair. I have been to so many places including the most expensive ones downtown that completely rip you off because they think they are professionals from New York. I desperately needed to get my hair done because I had an interview the next day and it was such short notice. I looked on city search (which I normally don't do, I use word of mouth or people my family/friends go to) and made an appt. with her. She not only knew exactly what I wanted, she did an amazing job and it was not expensive like the ones in the montrose or galleria area. It is beautiful inside and the people are so nice. You honestly feel like you have known them forever. Stephanie sat down and talked with me while i waited for my highlights and she is GREAT! not only nice, but she completely knows what she is doing. I have never written a review on here, but people do need to know about her! I just hope I can still get appointments in after people start noticing her!!! Stephanie colored and cut my hair last night and she did an AMAZING job! She was willing to work with my schedule and she made me feel so comfortable. The atmosphere is great and she is so sweet. I felt as if I had known her prior. You can tell when someone really cares and wants to give you their best....not only from the way you're treated, but from the finished product! After Stephanie cuts and styles your hair, you'll feel like you've had a makeover. She does an excellent coloring job that stays vibrant even with growth!
