Great moving company, we were shopping around for a while before deciding to go with Allstate Moving because all the horror stories we've been hearing about moving companies in San Francisco. We finally decided to go with this company. The movers who showed up were extremely friendly and did their best to make us feel comfortable about the whole thing. more

Quick, no-nonsense, painless move! 3/18/2011

I can't say enough about Allstate Moving.  They made my move so easy, and were very friendly throughout the entire process.  For a control freak, such as me, the continual updates and efficiency were greatly appreciated.  I am thankful for all of their assistance with this very important transition in my life.  I was 1000% satisfied with their service and would recommend them highly to anyone and everyone I know who is looking to relocate. more

An excellent moving company 3/16/2011

What a great company!!! Their prices are probably the best I have seen. They made numerous stops to pick up a couch for me and also my friend's stuff along the way to our new place and I think most movers would be complaining and charging you extra but they did not. Highly recommend Allstate Moving and will surely use them for my next move. more

My family and I wanted to say how satisfied we were with the moving service that Allstate Moving provided us with. The crew was professional and yet extremely pleasant. They did not know the word no. They worked efficiently and happily. There was no damage done to any of our furniture and we kept our sense of mind. more

Very happy with service! 3/8/2011

I have moved with this company before and they are professionals. They know how to treat their customers. I was really happy with the movers they sent me, they were really nice guys. Hard workers and polite. They moved my stuff with the utter most care. I had a lot of fragile, so they packed everything like professionals. Nothing got broken or damaged. I got so relieved when I finally moved, because a lot of the things I have so much sentimental value and I would be devastated if anything happened to any of my stuff. more

Great moving Company 7/30/2010

This is for sure the greatest moving company. It is not the cheapest one but you get what you a paid for, no extra charges which I think is very important. I heard a lot of horror stories with other moving companies so yes I was a little bit skeptical but surprisingly everything went smoothly. They were 10 minutes late but that's okay, this is Oregon. Otherwise they were professional & friendly. Everything arrived in one piece. Love the name Allstate Moving & that is exactly what I got. more

The greatest moving company I have used yet 7/30/2010

I have moved many times in my life - usually at least every year - and almost every moving company I have used has turned out to be a nightmare in the end - no matter how many promises they make up front. Allstate Moving is far and away the best moving experience I have ever had and I will never use anyone else again!! They really DO provide what they promise, without tacking on ridiculous extra fees at the end - they are very helpful, fast, and proffessional. If anybody needs to move, choose Allstate Moving! more

The folks over at Allstate Moving were not only pleasant and very helpful but actually helped us make our choice for a moving company easy. We asked them about close to 15 moving companies not directly involved with them and they helped us chose the right one. We had absolutely no idea what type of people were out there on the internet and most of them were fairly new companies that had apparently been other companies under different names and simply changed their names after they had gone bad. Allstate Moving representative helped guide us toward a great crew that we ended up using for our move from OR, and we could not have been happier with the choice. The price was reasonable and the movers were outstanding so in short, thank you Allstate Moving for making it simple and easy. more

Allstate Moving is hands-down the greatest moving company in Portland! Thanks to Robert, Harold and Bruce my move went very well. They were fast, professional, and very careful. I thought moving would be a real pain but they put me at ease. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning to move. more

It was a good move! 7/25/2010

When I decided to move down to Portland to be closer to my sister and her family the thing that concerned me the most was the pressure of picking the right moving company to deliver my things to Bay Area. Well boy were my prayers answered! Allstate Moving were top of the line from the salesperson who gave me a professional in home estimate to the movers who were so careful with my things that I felt like I was being moved by my own family, rather than a big moving company. Stress free move. 7/25/2010

I got in touch with Allstate Moving to help with an office move from Portland, OR to Miami, FL and they were great. They knew how to navigate a move in Miami with no problems, we efficient and definitely took the stress out of a crazy day. Two weeks later I unexpectedly had to help move a family member's belongings and Allstate Moving was there to the rescue once again. They were very careful with all of the belongings and made easy work of a 4 stop move all across the city. I would hire them again in a second, two great moving experiences in one month! more

My roommate and I needed inexpensive movers, and after reading the horror stories of those who used other moving companies, we went with Allstate Moving. They were right on time, extremely friendly and clean! They charged us a very reasonable rate per hour. They took the door off the hinges at the old and new apartments, as well as took the feet off our couch and armchair to get them through the doors. The total price was under the estimate they gave us to move a 2 BR 2 bath, which is fantastic. They don't have hidden fees and they even had blankets they put over our furniture (most companies make you rent furniture pads). I will always use them. more

es with both local and nationally recognized companies, who often charge thousands of dollars in frivolous surcharges and make threats when you don't pay them in cash on the spot. It's a dirty business, full of crooks. That's when I reached out to Allstate Moving. I have used Allstate Moving to move from OR to North Carolina. Their crew is always very professional, extremely courteous, quick, and careful when packing and moving items. Their prices are competitive, and in the end, you will pay less because they don't squeeze you for lots of extras like all the other moving companies. Also they don't break things in their rush to complete the job like other movers, which also saves you money. I have recommended Allstate Moving to all my friends and family members who likewise have had excellent experiences. Allstate Moving never charges sneaky surcharges for that lamp you forgot to mention or for a couple extra steps at the entryway or having to park the truck an extra ten feet away. AVOID SELECTING MOVERS BASED ON PRICE ALONE! In my experience, I ended up paying bogus surcharges in the end with other companies. more

No Stress Movers 7/17/2010

I have used this company 5 times and have always been very pleased with their quality and service. Moving is stressful enough, but having quality movers is such a plus. The team are true professionals. I am in temporary housing while building a home and will be using them again, hopefully in 7 months! more

Great Moving Company 7/14/2010

I moved a one bedroom apartment and Allstate Moving - Long distance movers Van Lines in Portland, OR had it moved in less than 2 hours. It was a little pricier than other moving companies but definitely worth the extra money for a move that goes smoothly! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone! The guys were fantastic!!! They arrived right on time and worked quickly and efficiently. The prices were very reasonable and Bob was even able to fit us into the schedule with extremely short notice.
