My dad started with Allstate in 1977, and my mother later became an agent, too — so it’s not a stretch to say that insurance is in my blood. We moved to Utah when I was 2, and I’ve been right here in Sandy City since I was 5. I joined the family business fairly young, starting work right after high school. And even after I went off to do mission work — serving in Chile for two years — I got right back into it.
I worked for family a few more years, until I took a big leap and started my own agency in 1997, co-locating the business with what was then my mother’s agency (which I bought and folded into my own in 2011). I’m so proud that my family has served generations of customers — three deep in some cases — from this same spot across from South Towne Mall for some decades.
