Editorial review from Citysearch 12/26/2013

I brought my two pit bulls to Dr. Billiar to be boarded Christmas eve. They were to be taken care of for 3 days. When my wife and I returned, they acted as if everything was ok, nothing out of the ordinary. First they brought my older female which I took straight to the car, when I got to the car I noticed that both of her front elbows were raw in about an inch in a half in diameter. I rushed her back in to see what had happened. I was then told she had calluses that had rubbed off in the bath, I thought it looked terrible but took them at their word, returning her to the car. Then came out my 2 year old baby girl, again straight to the car, then I noticed her elbows were completely raw no hair and bloody. She is a puppy and has no calluses. Her gums were also bleeding profusely, top and bottom. As I brought here back in I noticed several severe scratches on here behind. Also after being bathed, the was dog feces all over her backside, which got on my wives pants. I then asked to see the 6 X 4 room which we reserved for both of them to stay together. I looked descent, I could see nothing but a cement floor. Then the Dr. came in to look at my puppy. She looked at these horrible sores. I asked Dr. Billiar if this was acceptable. She answered plainly, yes. That was when I gave up on Dr. Billiar. I asked her to wipe the feces off my puppy and I would leave so I can take pictures of her injuries. Then Dr. Billiar asked me if I would like to see what my dogs did to her cages. I then followed her not to the nice rooms we were told of, but to a small room with tiny all metal cages. Cages too small for my dogs. They were never boarded together, They had been let by themselves in cage they couldn't even turn around in. After I told her I was going to take pictures, she took her own of the puppy, and again told me I was overreacting. I beg of you to boycott All pets clinic, love your animals and take them to a safe place. I brought my two pit bulls to Dr. Billiar to be boarded Christmas eve.
