I Highly recomend All Animals Veterinary Hospital to anyone that wants superb care for their pets. I was very worried about my dog Lucy when I took her to Dr. Holton. Dr Holton did bloodwork and xrays and found that Lucy had a heart issue. He put her on medication and Lucy is so much better now. Although seemingly friendly, this crew is pretty much behind the times when it comes to pet care. When I asked about some pretty common premium dog food brands (the kind you can purchase from any PetCo. or Petsmart) the doctor and nurse looked and me like I was an alien, and said that they didn't know and had never heard of them. \r The reason I asked was because we had taken our allergy suffering dog there three times, and one overnight stay, only for him to come back to us heavily drugged, and NO BETTER. I heard that it may just be the dog food we were giving him, might have reactions to wheats, glutens or grains but wanted the vet to give us recommendations and confirmation of his condition. \r our previous vet had given him a single steroid shot when his skin flared up a few years back, and thats all it took to leave him well and painless for months. we told these guys about it, but, almost like bad mechanics they didn't do it so we'd keep coming back. our vet bill was OUTRAGEOUS, an more

I moved to Dawsonville from Florida 3 years ago and was looking for a friendly vet to take care of my animals. The friendly staff has always taken care of my pets with the up-most care and compassion. They follow up with me after every visit just to check on my pet and see how they are doing. I have taken all my animals to Dr. Holton for the last 8 years. Everytime I call the office the girls at the front desk are so helpful and understanding. At every visit from the mininute I come through the door til I leave after my appt.. no matter the circumstances I am always treated with understanding and respect by all staff members.When I walk in the door they call me by name and know my pets name, that's important and shows me they care about my pet.
