Alhambra Municipal Golf Course

If you're bored one night, just head on over the Alhambra Municipal Golf Course. It is not really a golf course though, it's more of a driving range complete with nets. They are opened at night. I am not a golfer and have never golfed. This was a great change from the usual miniature golf and it was great to practice my long shots and anger management as well. more

For the last couple days, i have been going to this driving range with my friends, all we do is chip in 9 dollars and get a 110 balls and we each take turn to hit. I mean, for 9 dollars and you split it with 4 people that is around $2.25 per person. And it is a very good sport that you can work your whole body into. It teaches relaxation to the mind and focus on what is in front of you. The only bad thing that i found was that the walls separating each golfer were too short to stop balls that goes side ways, and there is this one light that keeps shutting off and turning on that distracts me. one last thing is that the restrooms are also too far to walk to at night. but other than that, it is a fun sport that will bring laughter to everyone! enjoy =D. more

The design of this course will be a good test for any serious golfer. There is plenty of water and out-of-bounds that will punish you for erratic shots, especially off the tee. Because of the narrow fairways, course management is much more important than distance. This is a great course for short, accurate players to challenge friends who are long hitters. Algie Pulley added nine new holes and redesigned the course in 1977. This facility features the only three story, night-lit driving range in the state. more
