I shopped and consigned at 2 at the Alexis stores. Overall my experience was ok. Not the best customer service, but was ok. Had 2 not so good experiences in the past with the John...

great store for deals 1/20/2007

After reading the reviews, I had to find this place and I went today. I could not believe whst greast stuff they carried and unbelievable prices. I spent less than $50 and came out with Bebe pants, Casual Corner dress slacks, Macy's Inc jeans and two great shirts. Love this place and will visit often. Also, the owner was beyond polite and helpful, not pushing. for a great deal, you have to visit this place. more

A terrific Consignment Shop. 11/27/2006

Very pleasant owners. Excellent selection of items. Check out the jewlery. Some original pearl and other beads, all hand made and georgeous. A bit of a ride from vinings, but well worth it. However, you can go up the raos and shop at Wholefoods and the very best Tuesday Morning in Atlanta. Pros: Pleasant owners; good selections; Very clean and neat. more

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! 11/12/2006

Not your run of the mill, snobby consignment stores...this place is AMAZING, and so are the people that work there!!!! Everytime I come in I leave with great finds that stand out amongst the boring trends you are used to finding everywhere else. Just the other day I walked away with a beautiful pair of banana republic flats? a classy black blouse?and a very VINTAGE ruby ring that I am in love with!!!! Not to mention the REAL Chanel Chevron clutch I snagged for only $50....excuse me, $25 with my Credit....did I mention this is a great way to SWAP your clothes for NEW ones, or to earn big bucks!!!! AND...I am still getting compliments on the amazing vintage boots (ALL 3 PAIRS,) I got last year... MAN, I could go on forever, but for the sake of readers, go and see for yourself....YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!! Pros: UNIQUE FINDS/CUTE DOG!!! Cons: NOT NEARLY ENOUGH PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT IT!!! SO SPREAD THE WORD! more

great prices! 8/9/2006

So i read all of the other reviews before going to Alexis' Suitcase and i thought, wow this sounds too good to be true!! And it really is, the owner is incredibly nice and the clothes are the best prices i've ever seen on consignment. I saw a brand new Arden B. jacket, the tag still on, for $35.00! Don't forget to look at their jewlery section. I got a great necklace for 7 bucks and a pair of BCBG pumps for 20. This has become one of my favorite new shops! Pros: location, prices and customer service! more

Great finds and cheap prices! 6/20/2006

This place is great! It's an "upscale" consignment store, meaning it has higher quality clothes than most consignment stores, but the prices are the same so you still get great deals. I've bought several shirts there that were brand-names (Guess, Arden B, etc) and brand-new, but at consignment prices. After finding this store, I took in some of my old clothes and I've made over $100! They also have a great selection of jewelry - I've bought several pairs of earrings and necklaces there. They also have special events every once in a while - in-store makeovers and psychic readings, for example. Sign up for their mailing list and you'll get coupons and info about their special events. I highly recommend this store!! Pros: Clothes, owners, prices Cons: None more

Great deals on fabulous style. 6/7/2006

I got the best coach purse for 40% off the original price, with the tags still on! They have great accessories (shoes, bags, jewelry) and super cheap prices on all their clothes. I bought a Nine West shirt for $9.99 that would have been at least $39.99 at a department store. I consigned a handful of clothing items with them and made $90.00. Then I spent the $90.00 at their store getting more great stuff. The employees are so nice, too. You get so much more for your money at this fabulous boutique. I highly recommend. Pros: Great Prices Cons: NONE! more

Cute Botique, Great Clothes & Friendly Service 6/7/2006

If you're looking for cute, trendy clothes for great prices, this is the place! I found my most favorite pair of jeans here for $2.50 believe it or not! Every time I have visisted the store, I come out with a few things.... They have some great finds at really reasonable prices and some really cute purses and shoes! The ladies that work there are really nice too and sometimes they have their cute pup in the store too! :-) Pros: Clothes selection, Atmosphere, Service more

Cute, cute, cute! 5/26/2006

I can't believe I didn't discover this place sooner! You walk in the door and can't believe it is even consignment - everything is so adorable! I bought a Juicy Couture top for $10, a Coach bag for $70, a couple pairs of jeans...one of which was on the half price rack for $6.50, and a couple of summery going-out tank tops for under $10 each. Their style is more trendy, a lot of Arden B., Bebe, etc. but I noticed lots of classic stuff like Banana Republic and Ann Taylor too. They also have some couture like St. Johns and Prada. The owners are a mom & daughter who were so sweet and helpful. I also signed up for the email list on their website where I got a coupon for my next visit emailed to me. Definitely a must visit! Pros: Good prices!, Friendly!, Cute clothes! more

Cute clothes, great prices 11/16/2005

This is one of my favorite "undiscovered" stores in Atlanta. As a fashionable woman on a budget I hit Alexis Suitcase first when I have an event and I need a fabulous outfit, or need more work clothes, or just cute regular clothes. They have a great selection - lots of sizes! The owners are so helpful and nice, but never pushy. Pros: Great prices, Cute Clothes, Wonderful Selection Cons: NONE more

Great Quality and Great Style!!! 10/1/2005

This is a great new store and is truly worth your time to make a visit!! So many times I have been to consignment stores where the clothes are not cute or are falling apart. That is why this store is really cool because it is FULL of cute things (clothes, shoes, jewelry, accessories) and everything is in great condition. And better yet, the prices are SO cheap!! I just recently bought a new outfit there for my new job ($22) - I was complimented on it numerous times throughout the day, and everyone thought it was brand new it was in such great condition!! You really should check it out!! Pros: Great Prices, Huge Variety, Excellent Service more

Fabulous little boutique in Sandy Springs! 8/31/2005

This gem is tucked away in the Shops at Morgan Falls and it is kinda hard to see from the road....behind Tijuana Joe's. They have a nice mix of designer label consignment and new designer samples. They have the BEST selection of purses and jewelry, and I never walk out of there without an awesome pair of shoes. And the prices truly cannot be beat! Pros: really cute clothes, EXCELLENT prices!, great service more

Great Shop! 8/30/2005

The prices are great, and there is new stuff all the time. You never know what you will find. Lots of variety. The atmosphere is good, more like a boutique than a consignment shop. It is open until 7:00 p.m. (8:00 on Wednesdays) so you can go after work. The clerks are friendly. Cons: Inexpensive, Easy Parking, Open 6 days more

Wow! Cute clothes and great prices 5/27/2005

This shop just opened up around the corner so I thought I'd drop in. The store is set up so cute and they already have tons of cute clothes. I bought 4 tops and 2 sundresses for only $45. Highly recommended! Pros: Good prices, Friendly!, Lots to choose from Cons: Closed Monday more

Owner Message
  • What is Alexis' Suitcase, anyway? Alexis' Suitcase began with the idea that a consignment store should be more like a boutique. Clean store, friendly and helpful staff, and current styles in good condition. Jayna Thompson, the owner, had shopped at way too many consignment stores with her mother that only had outdated styles, rude salespeople, and let's be honest...that smell! She thought there was a need for good gently-used clothes for fashionable people at good prices. And it turns out, there was!

Since Alexis' Suitcase was founded in a 1300 square foot store in Sandy Springs in 2005, it has quickly grown to 3 locations in Atlanta and over 8,000 square of retail space. Our mission has always been to offer good brands at better prices, and we've found that our customers are into it too!
