After calling their office with my problem (of having the cap come off- another dentist had done that work), Dr. Vallar's office went out of their way to schedule me so I could go...

Worst

Went in for an extraction, after his office staff told me he could do the extraction. I was over charged and had to get the tooth removed by a different dentist

Dentist for the Entire Family! 9/5/2011

It doesn't matter if it's one of the adults or one of our children... Dr. Villar always and his assistants always keep our mouths healthy painlessly. Our children actually ask if they can go to his office before their appointment time! Dr. Villar is professional and meticulous while still being friendly. I recommend Dr. Villar's office highly!!! more

Dr. Villar and staff are the greatest! 8/19/2011

Dr. Villar's practice is filled with people besides him that are just as detail oriented, well bedside mannered, professional, knowlegable and caring as he is. I have a son with Autism and the hygenist went out of her way to identify and address his special sensory needs. The hygenist Molly went out of HER way to identify and address my TMJ issues so that I wouldn't have my mouth open for too long at a time for my cleaning (great job, Molly!). They have the ZOOM as well (not some imitation). I identified where I was on Facebook. I learned that a friend of mine uses Dr. Villar as well and another who wants a referral. He and their office are the best dental practice in the SCV! more

I highly recommend Dr. Villar. I have been gong to him for several years now. He is very professional, personable, and his dentistry skills are superb. His staff and assistants are very nice, helpful and professional as well. If you hate going to the dentist, try Dr. Villar and you will never be afraid again! more

Dr. Villar and his staff are wonderful. They almost always run on time and the appointment is taken care of expeditiously, yet completely. The only reason I did not rate a 5 star is that it seems I have a different hygienist each time I come in and I would love to have some consistency. more

I highly recommend this dentist. He is extremely knowledgeable and current on all of the latest technology. He also has an amazing "bedside manner". You feel very calm throughout all procedures. The hygienists and office staff are all very experienced and friendly as well. more

Accommodating 7/27/2011

Appreciated being seen even though I was significantly late to my appt. In addition my 90 minute procedure ran overtime but Dr. Villar made sure that I got all the time and attention I needed. And as always the work is of the highest quality. more

Smart, educated, modern craftmanship... 7/5/2011

Smart, educated, modern craftmanship... as usual. Just returned from the (almost) final stage of getting an implant (replacing a tooth whose failure was ultimately caused by a dentist in Europe). Every step of the way no chances were taken, which costs a little more, but reduced the chance failure hugely. Dr. Villar has saved my teeth from otherwise certain ruin... I'm English and came to the US with teeth that were rapidly crumbling away. The care and advice I've had are excellent. more
