Greedo Works At The Drive-Thru 11/13/2007

PROS: The food here is usually fantastic. The value is incredible. CONS: 1. The interior looks like it was designed by Mr. Brady. It is very 1970 diner deco. Lots of yellow and red. I suggest you eat in the car or at home. 2. A friend once told me that salsa makes or breaks Mexican food. Well here it is hard to know because they guard salsa like it was made with diamond chips. You get 2 per order anything beyond that you are asking for too much. Seriously it is just tomato and peppers, do you have to be so greedy? RECOMMEND The Chicken Fajitas Burrito, Carna Asade Burrito, Enchiladas, and the Salsa that is hard to get. DAMN YOU GREEDO more

Whenever I am in Orange County, I have to complete my trip by hitting a few of my favorite food establishments. I could never go and miss a trip to Alerto's. Their burritos are the best I've found on my culinary adventures. They come stuffed sans rice (a peeve of mine) with high-quality meats, avocado and a fresh pico de gallo (or at least some tomato and onion concoction) in a soft tortilla with edges holding just the right crispness. It is an unforgettable $5 meal. Burrito heaven. more

Late night Yummies! 10/10/2005

My favorite thing is the Carne Asada Quesadilla or the Carne Asada Nachos. My husband likes their breakfast burritos with chorizo.... Alertos is great for eating late so that you dont get TOO bad of a hangover the next day! more

Simply the best Mexican food around. The prices simply can't be beat. Quick. and reliable fast food. The service is mediocre. But the real value of this venue is the food it serves. The best value is its Carne Asada Burrito. Simply put, it is delicioso. Also Nachos Carne Asada. The best nachos you will ever have. more

Alertos Mexican Food: Food Run and Runs 8/11/2005

Alertos Mexican Food is a perfect place for all those late night runs and cravings college students have. They have the best carne asada that is not the true authentic Mexican type, but it is super delicious nonetheless. People should order carne asada burrito, carne asada fries, and three rolled tacos with guacamole and sour cream. The carne asada fries portions are huge and must be shared. The place looks like a hole in the wall place but the food is excellent. more

Good mexican food 8/5/2005

Alerto's has good mexican food. The prices are a bit expensive for mexican food, but the food itself is good. I really like the super nachos. The super nachos come with steak, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole over crispy tortilla chips. I also like to add some taquitos with shredded beef on the inside and on top covered with cheese and guacamole. The food is good here, just a little pricey in the end. I come here maybe once a month. more

This is one of my favorite mexican restaurants in town. The prices are definitely cheap. The burritos are quite big, so I guess you get your moneys worth. The most popular items are the carne asada burritos and fish burritos. more

great mexican food 8/4/2005

this place is really a blast to go to for a lunch time with friends, we always take a drive there just to get some food, my favorites there are their carne asada which is really awesome and they have really good mexican style fries, i would say their food is a little pricey but the up side is that you get a lot of food for the price. i would definitely encourage people in the area to try it out, i gave it a 4 because i would say their are a little oily the burritos, but that is it very very good place highly recommended for drive thru mexican food more

Alertos Mexican Food is a great Mexican restaurant. I love to eat here every time I am in the mood for Mexican food. My favorite items there are the burritos. They offer the burritos in many differences meats: fish, beef, pork, chicken, and many more. They have two locations to pick from in Fountain Valley. They also open very late. more

Great Burritos 6/25/2005

Alertos Mexican Food is my favorite Mexican food joint. Whenever I am in the area, I would drop by and grab a beef burritos. They have the greatest burritos from all around. Unlike other place, Alertos’s burritos are huge. The burritos are filled with meat and very juicy. I really enjoy the burritos and you will too. more

Great Mexian Food 6/23/2005

I was introduced to Alertos Mexican Food during a trip down to Miles Square Park. My friend drops by Alertos because we were all hungry. Instead of getting Jack-in-the-box, we want to try something new so we tried Alertos. I got a beef burritos. It was great. I really enough it their food and would come back again. I would recommend Alertos too everyone. Give them a try, you will like it. more
