Alan's Music is the best place for beginning music enthusiasts. They offer options on renting and buying instruments, and always make it easy for you. The staff help fit you with the perfect instrument and also have a TON of sheet music and instructional books to get you started. The repair service is one of the cheaper places in town and they always do a great job. more

Lots of Music 6/15/2009

This is a good place for sheet music. There is sheet music everywhere. For almost any instrument you can think of. They also sell a wide variety of instruments and also provide lessons. The employees are very helpful too. They would help you with anything you need because it can get difficult to find things there. You can also bring in instruments for repair. This is a nice music store and is definitely my number one place to go to. more

This is a great place to rent instruments from and buy music, or get lessons, for they will never rip you off, and are always helpful. Yet, I don't recommend getting repairs done there, for they do not really have the expertise. more

The only real music store in east county. 10/6/2008

Alan's has been here forever.I like the feel of the place when I go in - it brings back memories. They sell, lease, lease to buy, and offer lessons for just about every instrument. We did a lease to buy for my son's saxophone, and then signed him for a series of lessons. more
